"Europarcs on Lake Wörthersee—never again - Unfortunately, we found that the campground was quite run-down and in urgent need of renovation. There had also been a storm before we arrived, which left the grounds very muddy and, in some places, in poor condition. We still paid a good €70 per night for this campground—which we felt was significantly overpriced. When we asked, we were told that the prices are dynamic and increase when the campground is at high occupancy. From our perspective, however, the value for money isn’t there. At that price, we would have expected a much better-maintained campground and better conditions.

"Nice place with accommodating flaws - Basically, the floors in the toilets and showers need to be thoroughly cleaned. They are mopped daily, but this does not remove the stubborn dirt 2. the toilet seats are loose and crooked...it is simply the wrong seat for the toilets. 3. the siphons at the washbasins are partially blocked and leaky, which means that they drip onto the floor. I speak for the ladies' area. There are also no plugs All in all, hire a plumber and rectify all the defects plus a thorough clean.

"Everything ok so far - We were there for one night in July 22 when we were passing through. The place is about 200m above the lake road. If you want to go to the lake, there is a footpath from the campsite, directly to a private area that belongs to the campsite - according to the operator. We only saw the first few meters of the path, which leads steeply through a wooded area. It looked adventurous and a bit unkempt. The pitches are good, but small. Depending on how you stand, you are very close to your neighbor. The sanitary building is centrally located, is well equipped and was in clean and immaculate condition. The site is on a slope and is terraced. There is a restaurant at the top, but we didn't visit it. You can also get the pre-ordered bread rolls there in the morning, which were very tasty. If we are passing through again, we can imagine coming back for 1-2 nights.

"Beautiful view - Once to the Wörthersee - that's why we booked three nights and the view was great! Our pitch no.55 offered a nice view, but a terrace below us was the central wash building, which was also very well lit at night. The lamp shone directly onto the bed. Also, there was always something going on there all night and the noisy cleaning came at 6am. This site and number 56 are only suitable for insensitive people. The campsite is neither fenced off nor guarded. The reception closes at 6 pm and then there is no one to talk to. The local road from Auen to Schieflingen ran directly behind our pitch. However, the traffic is only moderate and hardly disturbing. But the "pitch" is accessible to everyone at all times. The terrace pitches are in full sun all day long. You can find shade on the forest meadow pitches, which are idyllic and quiet, but without a view of the lake. The site is wonderfully suited to dogs. Directly behind the forest meadow is a dog run with a small obstacle course and a forest with lots of great hiking trails, including the Wörthersee circular trail. This is fantastic and highly recommended. There are bag dispensers and garbage cans everywhere for your dog's waste. There is a dog shower at the sanitary building. However, there are no opportunities for dogs to bathe in the lake, but there are small streams in the forest. The store in reception only sells small drinks and ice cream, the nearest supermarket is 2 km uphill, so make sure you arrive with a full fridge! There is a great restaurant on the local road with a breakfast buffet, pizza from 5pm and dinner. You can also buy bread rolls there, but a normal roll costs 80 cents. To access the lake, you have to walk down a short forest path and cross Promenadenstrasse. As everywhere on Lake Wörthersee, you can get into the water via steps on footbridges. There is no shallow water area.
