After prolonged rain, we were told not to leave the grass pitch with the camper van, otherwise it would be damaged. We were given another pitch, where the electricity failed several times (a technician fixed the fault). From... the morning, a small golf caddy with loud music drives across the pitch as children's entertainment. Teenagers / young adults do not keep to the night's rest from 22:00, with luck it is quiet from 23:00. The site is very remote, so shopping is only possible by motorized means (outside the site). The beach of the North Sea is not accessible, here better drive to Renesse or similar. Overall, you can not do anything except walking / cycling outside the square. For me too expensive for the money, you can do better elsewhere for less money.Automatski prevedeno.

Small snack store, very large store with everything your heart desires, beautiful paths for walking or cycling. Restaurant on site. The site itself is very nice and definitely clean. A lot is really done for the children, but the respective languages are not taken into account. Our children hardly understood anything and there was no translation. You can also... hire bikes, of course, and they are very reasonably priced. Unfortunately, the biggest drawback is the food here on the campsite. The menus we were given in the restaurant were exclusively in Dutch, even though we had ordered in German. We also had hair in our food on three consecutive days, both in the restaurant and in the snack bar. After we complained, the waitress could no longer understand us. Strange. You can eat very well in the Strand Brasserie. It really tastes very good there. Unfortunately, the beach did not deliver what was promised. It is not possible to walk for miles along the water. Only on the dyke but not directly on the sand by the water. That will be one reason why we won't go here again. For the washing machine you have to pay 5 euros per wash and also for a drying cycle. That's why the staff are not very friendly and only do what is necessary, unlike with our 3-year-old son. He is very much appreciated and pampered! There are lots of playgrounds all over the campsite, a rather small indoor playground,... a children's pool in the swimming pool and 2 children's pools in the indoor pool which are more like a half-full bathtub. The indoor pool is rather small and not very inviting. Unfortunately, the water in the children's pool is not heated, so no child wants to stay in it for long. The XL pitches are large and equipped with water, electricity, waste water and TV connections. The pitches are well-kept and clean. The sanitary facilities are mostly clean, but there are not enough of them at peak times. The four dog owners on this site are noticeable. The beach is not exactly beautiful, more reminiscent of mud flats than the sea. The food in the snack bar is typically Dutch, but frikandell and chips are good. The pizzas are not Italian, but the prices are. They taste so-so but cost 9€-11,50€. The food is otherwise good but relatively expensive for the small portions. All in all, it was a nice vacation here despite the strong wind and bad weather, but it's not the campsite's fault. Nevertheless, we won't come here again as it's simply too remote, the nearest larger town is 35km away.Automatski prevedeno.

If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you, despite the many children. The staff are very friendly and the entertainment is great. It can get boring for kids over 11. The pitches are large enough as the cars are parked in a separate area. The ground of the pitch consists only of grass. Each pitch has its own electricity and water connection. If the fuse blows, you automatically have electricity again after... 2 minutes and the wash house is pitch dark from 10 pm!!! Internet via WLAN is available everywhere. Unfortunately there is a charge. There is not much going on in the area. There is more going on in Domburg, Westkapelle etc. The gastronomy on the site is OK, but nothing special. Thomas S.maj 2014Only separated from the Westerschelde by a dyke. Great for relaxing and walking. The beach is not so great as it is located at the harbor entrance to Antwerp. The site itself is good and very well maintained. The swimming pool and the outdoor pool can be used free of charge. Supermarket, restaurant and chip shop are ok. W-Lan must be booked separately. The pitches have everything you need: water, waste water, electricity and cable TV. The indoor pool is very small but OK for children, the outdoor pool has two pools, one for small children. - Klaus S.juli 2011The beach is not really inviting for swimming, and the pool, if it should ever be at bathing temperature, is too small for the number of guests. The campsite is too far away from everything worth seeing in Zeeland, including the nearest supermarkets. However, the market on the site is well stocked. The... homepage also states that the entire site speaks German - unfortunately this is not the case. The campsite was 95% Dutch, even at reception we had difficulties with German. I only recommend the campsite to families with children under 12. We were lucky with the onion factory, we only had the smell for one day, but if I had had the smell for the whole two weeks it would have been one point less. The playgrounds are great and plentiful. The camping cottage was big enough and the kitchen had all the essentials. As my predecessors have already said: the site is clean and in order, the staff are nice. Location, beach and smell just not ideal.Automatski prevedeno.
