"Beautiful place on a large thermal lake - Park-like, quiet grounds with plenty of shade under old, tall trees, within walking distance of the town and the large thermal lake (entrance fee). Divided by the overflow channel of the lake. Quite large plots, natural, somewhat muddy when it rains a lot. One of the two wash houses has been renovated, the showers now have clothes partitions. Overall cleanliness and maintenance of the site still quite good. The crowd was dominated by older spa guests. Good restaurant on site, Spar, DM and weekly market in the village, supermarkets 8 km away. Lake Balaton can be reached directly from the campsite on cycle paths, partly through the forest, partly through the town. In general, the number of cycle paths is limited and most of them lead along roads. A highlight of the site is the narrow overflow channel: You can swim in the warm water at any time outside the CP free of charge. If you stand in the water, "cleaner fish" nibble on your legs. The pitch is a bit expensive. In mid-September we had a lot of leaf bugs, which also liked to get into the caravan.

"Nice place with high prices for electricity - Very nice, well-kept place, near Termalsee. Sanitary facilities are clean but the beetle plague has become severe. Thousands of stink bugs that sit everywhere and crawl in through the chimney every opening they manage to get in. Camping vehicles were black with bugs

"Very nice - We arrived at late evening, 22.00 is the latest allowed arrival time. We called the contact number shown, the lady was very helpful. Price and quality very good. We recommend.

"Beautiful campsite with almost its own spa! - We were very surprised by what we found here! The campsite is located in the middle of a green oasis with its own thermal river and not far from the thermal lake (300 m). Large pitches on grass, fenced off with well-kept hedges and all connected to electricity and fresh water! The sanitary facilities were very clean and in good condition! This campsite is highly recommended! Beautiful cycle and pedestrian path (approx. 1 km) leads to the center.

"Wonderful campsite - We spent 5 days here at the campsite and are absolutely thrilled!!! Everything is to our complete satisfaction and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The nearby thermal bath river (approx. 35*) is brilliant and free of charge. The thermal baths are nearby and can be easily reached on foot. The beautiful nature and surroundings are ideal for hiking and cycling.

"A dream - Were here in 2018, with dog.... the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities top. one of the most beautiful places . Walking distance to the thermal lake. Will come again.

Profil

The first spa campsite of the Castrum chain has been welcoming guests since 1989. The campsite and guesthouse are located just 200 metres from the lake – in summer, guests can even stroll to the baths in their bathrobes. The …campsite is crossed by the lake’s overflow canal, where water lilies in the most beautiful colour combinations create a stunning view. This nature reserve is rich in unique birds and rare plants, offering a fantastic experience and an enchanting atmosphere. The shower cabins have been fitted with changing areas and doors, and individual wash cabins have been added. Both sanitary blocks are equipped with facilities for disabled guests. Within the campsite grounds, a guesthouse has been built with 10 rooms. The romantic rooms are furnished with a French bed, TV, refrigerator, shower cabin, and toilet. Two studio apartments are equipped with a small kitchen. The special atmosphere at the restaurant tables and on the terrace is enhanced not only by the charming sounds of birdsong but also by the varied selection of Hungarian and international dishes and drinks. On the campsite, the numbered pitches are equipped with electricity, some with drinking water and sewer connections, and are separated from each other by hedges.
