"Recommended campsite - The campsite is located directly on the Weser. We ourselves had a comfort pitch - Premium in the 2nd row. Very well-kept lawn. A written request in Sept. 2024 was processed immediately. Check-in was very quick on the day of arrival. Everything essential was briefly explained. That's how it should be. There are plenty of excursions nearby by boat, bike or car. We felt very comfortable there and can only recommend this place.

"Very nice and friendly environment! - We found shelter at the campsite in the rain and were given a very friendly and courteous welcome. The beautiful location directly on the Weser is very idyllic and the people were very accommodating. The particularly beautiful and clean sanitary facilities should also be emphasized. We also received very kind support when sending our postcards.

"Camping - The campsite is in a beautiful setting, right on the Weser, clean and quiet. Everything has been thought of. There is a playground, the sanitary facilities are very clean and the operators take good care of your physical well-being. The site is highly recommended.

"Campers meet the people of the heart - All in all a very nice campsite. Quiet location, right on the Weser. Good opportunities for walking the dog. And certainly even nicer in the sunshine. Clean sanitary facilities - another sanitary facility in the lower area would be great. Other restaurants within walking distance. A bread roll app would be great in case you forget to put your name on the list. The operators were very nice and friendly and always asked if anything was needed. The tractor was also used because the ground was so soft due to the constant rain that a Womo had become stuck. But it wasn't a problem at all. One negative point of criticism is the unfriendly permanent campers who call motorhome owners "Womodioten". Not exactly the "fine" kind! Which is not the fault of the operators. All in all, despite the constant rain, it was a very nice camping vacation.

Our campsite is located in Northern Hesse, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Weser Uplands, directly on the banks of the Weser River. From our holiday pitches, situated on the sunny side of the valley, you can enjoy a …stunning panoramic view of the Weser Valley and the Reinhardswald Forest. This wide, open valley is not only perfect for relaxing, but also offers a range of activities such as cycling, hiking, water sports, and fishing. A holiday in the heart of nature – far from cities and daily stress – is exactly what the Weser Uplands promises. It's the perfect place to recharge your energy and reconnect with nature. Are you traveling with a motorhome or caravan and looking for a beautiful pitch right on the riverbank with a stunning view of the Weser Valley? Then you’ve come to the right place! We offer: - Spacious and marked pitches (between 90–110 m²) along the Weserallee and directly on the Weser riverbank - Each pitch comes with fresh water and electricity connections (CEE plug with 16A) - A supply and disposal station for motorhomes - Well-maintained lawns and partly shaded pitches (Weserallee 16–25) - Clean sanitary facilities with hot water – no coins needed Our Paddelgasse holiday camping area will soon become a quiet zone. In this area, only guests aged 25 and over will be admitted (exceptions possible on long weekends and during the main summer holiday period). Tent campers will also feel at home on our separate, unmarked tent areas, surrounded by the untouched nature of the Weser Uplands. For cyclists and canoe travelers, a small shelter is available in the Weser Valley tent area. All our holiday guests (except day visitors) can enjoy free access to our indoor swimming pool located on-site, as well as to the outdoor pool in the neighboring village.
