"Small but nice - Well-organized campsite for long-term campers. Very friendly and helpful operator couple. During our three-week stay, the entire site always made a clean and well-kept impression. We felt at home.

"Well located pitch on the North Sea coast or directly on the Weser - There are a lot of nice permanent campers there, but that doesn't matter as the owner always finds a place to accommodate someone. We also asked at short notice and he managed to find a place. Thank you for that. The site is run by a nice couple and Sascha, the owner, always has an open ear if there are any problems. Yes, the railroad line can be a bit annoying if you camp on the side. But trains don't run there that often. (There was a building site here at the time and only construction site trains were running) In the fall, some pitches under oak trees can be stressful, as the branches constantly fall onto the caravan roof. No problem in spring and summer, when they provide shade. The kiosk has a good selection. The fish stall at the campsite has a good selection. The sanitary facilities / flushing blocks are always clean. We will definitely be back. A place to simply get away from the stress of everyday life. We were there with our dog, who was also welcome.

"One night became four - Nordenham was to be a one-night stop on our Weser cycle tour. We couldn't rent a camping hut for just one night, the minimum stay is 2 nights. So we changed our plans, booked the hut for a total of 4 nights and were very happy with this decision. Apart from the sanitary facilities, we didn't use any of the facilities on the site and only used the hut for sleeping Day trip to Bremerhaven... by bike only about 12 km one way. Camping is on the Weser cycle path, North Sea cycle path, Sielroute...

"Pitch with a view of the Weser - The campsite has tourist pitches both in the rear area and in the front area (water row). In my opinion, the pitches are of different sizes. On the pitches in the water row there are still some concrete slabs (presumably former permanent camper pitches), which unfortunately are not firm and therefore become tripping hazards. You need strength and luck to fix the pegs of the awning, because due to the size of the pitch you can't set up in any other way, but have to cope with the laid slabs. It's better to choose a pitch with grass only. Site operator and staff always friendly. Kiosk with catering on site. Good excursion possibilities to the North Sea, Bremerhaven, Wilhelmshaven; the center of Nordenham can be reached by bike in 10 minutes.

"Well located place to the North Sea coast - A campsite that is heavily influenced by permanent campers with extremely friendly and helpful owners. The kiosk at the entrance is the central communication hub and always crowded. Unfortunately, the restaurants around the campsite were closed (due to Corona!?). Nordenham, probably the most inconspicuous town in the north, doesn't really invite you to linger either. Conclusion: If you want to see Butjadingen, the Wesermarsch, Bremerhaven and the country between the Weser and Elbe estuaries, this colorful CP is the perfect starting point.

Enjoy the view of the Weser while large cargo and container ships, luxury yachts, sailing boats, motorboats, tour steamers, and fishing cutters pass by. The lively maritime atmosphere ensures there’s always something to see. The town center of Nordenham is just 900 meters away and invites you to take relaxed strolls through the pedestrian zone. On Tuesdays and Fridays, the largest weekly market in the Wesermarsch region takes place – with many popular stalls to explore. One of the campsite’s true highlights is its dreamlike location directly on the river. Witness stunning sunrises, fascinating weather patterns, and the constant movement of ships on the Weser. For dining, a cozy and family-friendly restaurant operated by the local ESV club is just across a charming wooden bridge. Behind the “Weserterrassen” building, you'll also find a large public barbecue hut and a spacious playground – perfect even for older children.
