Welcome to the Pöhl dam, which is situated in the magnificent landscape of the Vogtland region, in close proximity to the lace-making town of Plauen. With a length of 7 km and a width of 2 km the foundly called … “Vogtland ocean” is the third biggest dam of Saxony. The various natural landscape as well as the wide range of leisure activities will turn your stay at the Pöhl dam into an unforgettable experience for the whole family. A first impression of the holiday region of the Pöhl dam you will get during an hourlong boat excursion. Toss daily routine over board and enjoy dreamlike views of the charming low mountain range landscape and the nearby sights. Culinary and musical themed as well as individual charter cruises will provide you with memorable and impressive moments. Back ashore you will discover the rich flora and fauna along the well-marked and broad network of walking trails. Adventurous leisure fun awaits you at the largest climbing forest of Central Germany, on the 9-hole golf as well as mini-golf course or as your own captain during a trip on the electrically powered adventure-raft.
