Too good as "just" a place to stay overnight
This was our second time at the campsite this year, but this time we only had time for 2 nights instead of 4. As the first time, the reception was very friendly and very helpful. Things to see and do in Limoges were patiently explained. The sanitary facilities were clean and adequate, albeit a little... dated. The pitches for motorhomes and caravans are relatively large with a pebble base, for tents with dense grass without waterlogging. Unfortunately, apart from pre-ordered baguettes and croissants, there are no shopping facilities on site. There is a huge E-Leclerc about 800 meters away that offers absolutely everything. Even here in the middle of the country very good, fresh, reasonably priced fish. The main roads nearby were only audible as background noise. W-LAN throughout the site for just 1 euro a day. Bus transfer to the city center of Limoges is offered, we took our own SUV. Not a good idea, the parking spaces are quite small, especially in the underground parking garage we chose. Otherwise, Limoges is highly recommended, preferably for more than 1 day.

Cost 15Є. Camping 5 km from the center of Limoges, next to the lake. 2 sanitary blocks, recreation room with TV and billiards, small pool. The staff is responsive. Overall not bad.

Positive - Central location - Very friendly staff, easy registration - Level pitches - Pitches easy to reach - Cheap overnight stay - Large supermarket nearby (LecLerc, 400 m) - Close to the highway (approx. 2 km) but still quiet Negative - Toilets without glasses, without paper - Sanitary area tight... (ratio of people to showers, washbasins and toilets) - Bread must be ordered, no bakery nearby except supermarket but this only opens from 10.00 a.m. Other ideal drive-through site with small swimming pool
