"Very well-kept campsite with a great ambience - We, 2 adults with 2 dogs, were on this beautiful campsite with a caravan and took the opportunity that there were no trains running. We are a bit sensitive to noise, but if you are in the upper part of the site, you certainly hardly notice the trains. You can go for a walk directly from the pitch. Nevertheless, it is an advantage to be mobile here. The campsite is very well maintained and very clean, especially the sanitary building. Even though the sanitary facilities are no longer the most modern, everything was in top condition (disinfectant in the toilets, spacious showers with sufficient water pressure, etc.). Very quiet and pleasant atmosphere on the pitch. You can also leave the pitch during the lunch break, the barrier always opens from the inside (also important for emergencies). We had a top pitch at the very end of a terrace (unfortunately unlucky with the only direct neighbor - a little respect please, if you go to the toilet at 5 am or get up at 6, maybe don't entertain the whole place, but be considerate). The other campers were very considerate, many with smaller vehicles/vans, so that the great view on the terrace pitches was not obstructed. Rather not suitable for liners. Very friendly owners, great atmosphere on site, overall highly recommended. Between the public holidays at the end of May / beginning of June the site was surprisingly empty and therefore wonderfully quiet. Bread roll service very good - they are provided in baskets in a room and you can pick them up when you want. Very environmentally friendly solution as no plastic or paper bags are used. Unfortunately there is no restaurant on site, but you can quickly cycle to Glurns, where you can enjoy an excellent meal. Great cycle paths in the area, some too steep for e-bikes with dog trailers. The side valleys of Lake Reschen are particularly recommended for solitary hikes. Mals is very steep, the supermarket is relatively far away and you need an e-bike as the route is very steep.

"Mals is great - We stayed at Camping Mals for 3 weeks in August. Everything was great. The view of the mountains, the site layout, the super clean sanitary facilities and the whole campsite was very well maintained. The bakery service was simply mega. Cycle paths are very well signposted in all directions. The Adige cycle path deserves a special mention. The campsite team was always friendly and very helpful. We had no problem with the 12 m car/caravan combination. It was our first time here and we would love to come back.

"Beautiful place with one restriction - The place itself is really beautiful and the village of Mals is definitely recommendable. However, it really has to be mentioned that we never slept so badly anywhere during our eight-week vacation. The train service starts at 5:30 in the morning and doesn't end until 11pm. Trains also run at night from time to time.

"arrogant or cagey? - Wanted to rent a place with motorhome around 4 pm for 2 days. The "receptionist" mumbled to himself for about 1 minute. Then he said: "He doesn't actually do that, but now he's offering us the most beautiful pitch he has? As tastes differ, we wanted to see the place first. He told us in a nasal voice that this was not possible! At first we thought it was a joke. When we continued to insist, he said: "now you've lost" and we wouldn't get a seat at all. So we moved on to the next campsite where we were immediately given a map of the site and told to choose a nice spot. (as is usual everywhere else) Maybe we'll try again next year, maybe there'll be a different employee - who "hasn't smoked anything". There are just "funny birds" everywhere

"Summer 2022 - We received a very friendly welcome. Overall, the site is very well maintained and beautifully laid out. Our pitch offered enough space. The sanitary facilities are super nice and always kept clean. The swimming pool is a dream, very nicely laid out and there are plenty of sun loungers to enjoy the beautiful view. Overall, it is a wonderful campsite that is highly recommended.

"Summer vacation 2022 - The terraced and beautifully situated CP Mals now has 90 pitches, some of which are designed for tents or campervans. Electricity (16 A) and fresh water are available at all pitches. The trees provided us with plenty of shade from late afternoon onwards. The German-speaking Mr. Punter and his staff were always calm, very friendly and happy to help. Fresh bread rolls could be ordered for every day except Sundays, the small store at reception had some essential items and chilled drinks and ice cream. There were many German and Dutch campers on the site, as well as some Belgian, Italian and English campers. Everything from families with children to senior citizens were represented. The playground was perfect for our youngest. For the older ones there was a table football table and two table tennis tables. Two washing machines and a dryer (5€ each). The sanitary facilities were spotlessly clean and there was never a wait. The price also included free entry to the outdoor pool in Malles/Mals (max. 5 minutes' walk) as well as free travel by bus and train with the included Vinschgaucard and other discounts, e.g. on mountain railroads. The train and bus stations were located between the CP and the outdoor pool. However, this did not disturb the peace and quiet at any time. The location is perfect for excursions without your own vehicle. Malles is on the Adige cycle path, which we cycled in both directions (sensational!!). Bikes can be taken on buses and trains for an extra charge. Sometimes there is a shuttle service. If I have understood correctly, no e-bikes are transported. There is a lot for young and old to experience and discover in and around Malles/Mals. The town center is about a 15-minute walk away. For us, it was a great and eventful two weeks, during which we did a lot on foot, by bus, train and bike and rarely by car. We will definitely be back!

A warm welcome to Mals, the sunny oasis on the southern side of the Alps, located at the tri-border region of Italy, Switzerland, and Austria. This family-run and well-maintained campsite (74 pitches) is situated in a very quiet location on …the outskirts of the village. It is laid out in terraces and offers a stunning panoramic view over the wide valley, the small town of Glurns, and the glaciers of the Ortler mountain range. Located at an altitude of 1,000 meters with a particularly favorable climate, Camping Mals is the ideal starting point for exploring the natural beauty and cultural highlights of the Vinschgau Valley. Just 100 meters from the campsite, you will find the train and bus station, providing convenient access to all major destinations by public transport (Merano, Bolzano, Lake Resia, Stelvio Pass, Ofen Pass, etc.). The surrounding valleys (Planeil, Matsch, Schlinig) are also easily reachable by bus from there. Only a few minutes’ walk from the campsite, you will find restaurants as well as a large leisure center featuring an indoor pool (30% discount), an outdoor adventure pool (30% discount), a sauna area, indoor tennis courts, and bowling alleys. The village center, with numerous shops, is located just 800 meters away.
