The welcome was very pleasant, the campsite planted with trees, the sanitary facilities always well-maintained, the village enchanting with small, very welcoming shopkeepers and a good atmosphere between them and with us, the landscapes grandiose and splendid, we were able to see a bear print in Saliencia, a moment very intense in emotions, as well as an Izard, vultures, green lizards with blue heads, in La Peral in a rock. Delicious meal at La Peral in the mountains, recommended to us by the campsite reception. Thank you, Mr. It was a nice break in our hikes. And thank you for the warm welcome. We'll be back without hesitation.

Perfect for everything, welcome, hiking, camping, magnificent scenery, superb weather, if we'd known earlier that CT would be so wonderful to come to Somiedo, we'd have made it our honeymoon. We've dubbed it our 40th wedding anniversary. That's right! 😉👋

In the middle of the mountains.

Attention, you will not get the booked parking space. Nevertheless, the more expensive one will be charged. No offer of a reduction. Incompetent reception - I have never communicated so little in 15 minutes at a check-in.
Terrible reception/different pitch than booked
The reception at the front desk was unfortunately more than poor. We were checked in for 15 minutes and there was basically no communication. A very friendly man then led us to our parcelle. 30 square meters instead of the booked 70 square meters. We had to take space from our neighbors to the right... and left. After we asked, we were told that there was no more space, although there were still two free. As we were only staying for one day, we were forced to accept all this and chopped the day off. We spent four weeks traveling in France, Spain and Portugal with every conceivable location - but they all had one thing in common - HOSPITALITY. You can NOT find that here.

Great landscape
I stayed for 3 days in the Somiedo Nature Park on my return journey from Portugal to Germany. The campsite is idyllically situated in the village, the sanitary facilities are very clean. There is a small supermarket and a bakery in the village itself. The information point for the nature park is also in the middle of the village. Restaurant at the CP recommended.
