Everything on site or very close to the campsite.NegativnoUnfortunately, the swimming pool was overcrowded in the great weather and the discipline of the guests left a lot to be desired. There was no supervision at the pool and many children and teenagers often jumped into the water from the edge without any consideration for the other bathers.A great campsite for a short vacation with children and grandchildrenWe stayed at this great campsite for a short week with our 6-year-old grandson. Our pitch for the caravan was nice and large and the site was also very well laid out. There was a nice, sufficiently large wash house nearby and the site's attractions were also within easy walking distance. In my opinion,... the campsite is highly recommended for families with children!
Everything has been thought of here, even for the little ones.
When staying in the otherwise beautiful swimming pool area, you have to accept that you can cool off, but hardly swim ;-). But this was probably also due to the really great weather and the vacations in the Netherlands and NRW, because the place was really well attended, almost full :-).

Each pitch has its own playground, which you can see from your tent. Lots (!) of playgrounds without the equipment repeating itself. The pool and other facilities were also great.NegativnoLittle in the area for excursions. Toilets partly outdated and sometimes dirty. Walking dogs is a bit difficult because you first have to leave the pitch for the dog to do its business. Unfortunately, the waste is often left outside, which makes it not so nice.Very good campsite with small childrenWe stayed at this campsite for just over a week in August and wondered why there was still so much free when we booked a month before. You can choose your own pitch very precisely thanks to 360 pictures and a precise description of the pitch. But that's a good thing because there aren't that many pitches... in the shade. Fortunately, we paid attention to this, which was good because it was very hot here. But when we got there, the site was well booked. The people on site (whether stuff or visitors) were all friendly.
The campsite itself offers everything you could wish for with a young family. Each area has its own playground and the equipment is not repetitive. They are also aimed at different age groups. There is even a large covered playground.
There is also a good entertainment program, with a mini disco, foam party, arts and crafts and painting, circus event, etc. They come up with a lot of ideas. Unfortunately, everything is only in Dutch. Being so close to the German border, I would have liked it to be in German as well. But the children were able to understand it.
And they sometimes played loud music across the square to pick up the children, which is a good idea in itself, but when you want to put the little baby to bed and it wakes up again, it's stupid.
There is a store, restaurants, snack bar, pizza etc. on the campsite itself. They also understand German or English there.
There is also a pool with a slide (the roof is closed when it rains) and a children's area with slides.
The sanitary buildings are nice in themselves and are cleaned often (twice a day). However, ours was comparatively small and was therefore often full and sometimes dirty. But it was still ok.

Swimming pool small and sometimes too full, the older ones show little consideration for the smaller ones in the waterWe will definitely be back 😊It was our second time there and we would definitely come again. We really like the place. It's clean, everyone is friendly and helpful. The prices are also okay. There are lots of smaller playgrounds. There is one right next to the main building, which is larger and covered. Park situation at the house itself is catastrophic.Vacation in family houseIt's annoying when you're sitting on the terrace and every visitor who comes in or out of the house passes by and you're never really undisturbed, so perhaps a high hedge or fence could have been put up.
I think it's outrageous that you have to pay €4 per child for mini golf, a deposit or even €1-2 would... be enough.
I also think the fees for hiring a Kettcar are very high. They always say it should be for families, especially children, and then charge everyone such high fees/prices.
The swimming pool is also very unimaginative. There is enough space to make it bigger or to extend a pool or slide.
I would also like at least 1 person in the entertainment team to speak and understand German.
Staff is very friendly and helpful. Campsite is very clean and well maintained.
You pay for basic cleaning but the cabins are not really clean. One pan was full of sand as if it was used for playing in the sand. The vacuum cleaner was broken. The sanitary facilities are very clean, but they are closed from one day to the next for cleaning work, which is good in itself, but perhaps a fixed time should be found so that you are not standing in front of a locked door.Automatski prevedeno. - Patrick S.juli 2025PozitivnoVery broad, varied and creative entertainment program for the children! Very friendly staff. The many small playgrounds on the individual pitches are a great idea. You can keep an eye on smaller children in particular. Electricity and water available on the pitches. Uncomplicated booking process. On the whole, the stay was nice - except for the negative points see below.NegativnoThe sanitary facilities are a bit outdated and in need of renovation! The toilet seats are cracked in places and have scratches on the seat from cleaning. Some of them are yellowish in color. The sanitary building was also cleaned in the evening at around 20:30 to 22:15 in some cases. However, only the toilets and floors were cleaned. The dirt on the walls was not cleaned. It remained in place during our stay of several days. There are cobwebs and dead insects everywhere on the ceiling. The sinks are too small for washing up. An unpleasant smell regularly escapes from the waste water basins. The showers are ok. However, the water pressure is too low. The waste flaps in the showers and toilets are a good idea. But here, too, unpleasant odors keep escaping. I don't know how you can award 5 stars for these sanitary facilities.Sanitary facilities dirty, getting on in yearsThe stay was lovely. Extensive entertainment program and friendly staff everywhere. The food on offer is great and the price is right. The mini golf course is well maintained. The covered sandpit is great, especially when it rains! The sanitary facilities are crying out for a comprehensive refurbishment.... The same goes for the washing-up facilities. The cleaning times for these facilities are unfortunate. The cleaning result for approx. 2 hours of cleaning is insufficient!Automatski prevedeno.
- Jennis K.juli 2025PozitivnoCar-free and spacious pitch, not overcrowded, swimming pool, great activities for children, well-stocked store with food options, not far awayNegativnoThe sanitary buildings with the cleanlinessGreat campsite, but...The campsite is really nicely laid out and there is a center with lots of great play facilities (covered playground, indoor&outdoor swimming pool, mud track, swimming lake with climbing facilities). The store and various food options are on site and have fair prices, but could be cleaned more. The pitches... are well maintained and the play area in front of the pitch is really nice.
What is an absolute no-go, however, are the sanitary facilities. There are very few for the number of guests. Everything is open at the top, so the toilets, showers and washing-up facilities are all connected and you can hear and smell everything when washing up. The ceiling of the sanitary building is dirty and covered with cobwebs. It was cleaned every day, but always between 10-11am. Half of the 8 washing-up areas would then be blocked and the entire ladies' or men's toilets. The showers do not have their own drain and the cabins are open at the bottom. The water from the neighboring cabins then runs into your own - with everything that could be in the water there... Don't forget your flip-flops! The showers have a very thin jet, the warmer you set the water and with a shower time of 6 minutes it is sometimes very sporty to wash the foam out of long hair. The children's area is really cute, but it's getting on in years.
If they could get the sanitary facilities under control, it would be a super nice campsite all round. For us, however, clean and good sanitary facilities are very important and are a major shortcoming.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
Electricity was charged at 12 amps for 5 euros/night. You receive the bill shortly after departure, but you have to rely on what the staff say and have no control over your consumption.Automatski prevedeno.

The staff are very nice and courteous and the entertainment team is great. Just great all round.NegativnoSince we are in the Netherlands, my request may be wrong. It would be nice if the animation and the explanation of the games could also be in English, if not in German. This would ensure that the games are understood and explained properly to the children. Likewise, instructions on the premises would be nice in English.Family vacation with all the benefitsThis campsite is ideal for families with children. I would vacation here again at any time. Our daughter is 8 years old and got her money's worth. The site is very large and offers lots of play opportunities. The swimming pool is also great and can be visited whatever the weather. The entertainment team... is super nice, helpful and very child-friendly.
The all-round service is simply great. A big compliment goes to the cleaning team! The sanitary facilities are in really good condition and really clean! The facilities for all age groups are also great.
