Profil
Would you like to enjoy nature and quietness? You can do so on out mountain campground and pension Gsenger. Our place is easily reachable on a level of 1160 m altitude , 6 km off Ramsau Ort. Ramsau am Dachstein … is well known for its cross country tracks and only 50 minutes by car from Salzburg. An ideal location, in the middle of nature, forests and fields on the sunny plateau of Ramsau. From Gsenger you have a great view to the wild-romantic Mandling valley. Ramsau offers possibilities for everybody, athletes, families with kids, young or old. Walks and hikes in all levels of difficulty, all sorts of snow sports in winter and all kinds of outdoors in summer. In winter, there are several lifts operating in Ramsau, if you wish to ski on the skiing mountains of the ski amade', there is a free shuttle bus at your disposal. The cross country slopes of Ramsau am Dachstein count 150 km, they are freshly prepared on a daily basis and you enter the tracks right at the pension. If you like snow sports in summer as well, you have the possibility to ski and snowboard on the Dachstein glacier, which is also worth visiting without skiing. A big garden is right beside the campground, here we have Austrian 'Grillabende' (barbeques), which are very popular for guests and locals. Our guests on the campground are welcome to use the washingmachine and dryer in the pension. There is also a TV and playroom in the pension at our guests disposal. If you wish to surf the internet, we have wireless internet available. We are happy to welcome you in a relaxed and comfy atmosphere!

Information about the “Vignette” and other toll-charges. Timetable of Austria´s Federal Railway (ÖBB) Coming via Salzburg Take the A10, Tauernautobahn, until exit 'Eben'. Now follow the signs for Filzmoos and further on for Ramsau. You will arrive in Ramsau Hierzegg via the 'Hachau- Landesstraße', which is also well cleaned in winter. Filzmoos - Ramsau Hierzegg are about 8 km. You will find a sign and the turn for the Campground on the right hand side of the road. Alternatively: Drive to the exit "Knoten Ennstal" (just after exit "Eben"), then take the 'Ennstalbundesstraße' into the direction of Graz until - Pichl, from there drive up to Ramsau Vorberg, follow the signs for Ramsau Hierzegg via Ramsau Schildlehen - Schladming, from there drive up to Ramsau Kulm, follow the signs for Ramsau Hierzegg via Ramsau Ort and Ramsau Schildlehen. Follow the Ramsau house guide signs to: BLUE 728 Coming via Graz or Nurnberg-Passau Leave the A 9 Phyrnautobahn at the exit 'Liezen', then take the 'Ennstalbundesstraße' until Schladming. Drive up to Ramsau, via Kulm, Ort and Schildlehen to Ramsau Hierzegg. Alternatively: 'Ennstalbundesstraße' until Aich (which is about 10 km before you reach Schladming), turn right just after the Jet petrol station into the direction of 'Weissenbach' and follow the signs for Ramsau.Via Weissenbach you reach Ramsau Rössing and further on Ramsau Ort, Schildlehen and Ramsau Hierzegg. Follow the Ramsau house guide signs to: BLUE 728 Train station Schladming - international train tration. We will pick you up on request or arrange for a transfer.
