Small idyll on Lake Lauerz
Absolutely top managed campsite, very clean sanitary facilities. Nice restaurant. Mostly permanent campers mixed with individual tourist pitches and a large tent meadow
Fantastic location directly on Lake Lauerz, perfect for all sports, swimming, SUP, biking, hiking etc.
Individual pitches are on a slope... so there is a big difference in altitude (wedges can be borrowed from the groundsman!). Highway and train are partly audible depending on the wind, but did not bother us.
Showers for 1Fr. but hot water comes for a very long time.

Traffic from street extremely loud audible, 1.--/5 min. for hot water in shower, unsuitable for dog owners, poor walking possibilities
Questionable 4*
Does not deserve 4* (price/performance is not right). For shower you pay extra 1.--/5 minutes (4* campsite in CH???), unsuitable for dog owners, as there is only a meadow outside the campsite, otherwise you have to drive away by car, snack at the reception; only a few chips and ice cream to buy, bread... rolls are only available during school vacations (?). This campsite may be ok for permanent tenants, but rather disappointing for vacations or weekends.

The nearby highway and the railroad line are easy to hear but not extremely disturbing
We would love to come back
We felt very comfortable and welcome at this campsite right from the friendly welcome and the helpfulness of the campsite operators. The campsite is very well maintained and the sanitary facilities are clean and new.

Nice place, directly on the highway
We were there with the tent for a weekend. About the site itself: very well maintained and everything available. Clean. Friendly and helpful staff. More for those passing through, as 95% of the pitches are permanent. The campsite is also an outdoor pool for day visitors. Also nearby by car, the zoo and... Rigi. Restaurant: tasty and high prices, children's menu at CHF 15.00. Sanitary facilities: clean and well maintained. Minimalist playground. The focus is on the bathing lake, which is clean and refreshing. Unfortunately, the beautiful site is located directly on the highway and next to the railroad. This is of course very loud at night in the tent. But it was fine with earplugs.

Beautifully situated pitch directly on Lake Lauerz with a great view. Unfortunately, relatively loud noise from the nearby highway. Many excursion destinations can be easily reached by bike (Goldau zoo, landslide area, Schwyz, Brunnen)
