"Stayed 5 days instead of immediate departure - When we arrived, we actually wanted to leave straight away: the reception opening time of 2 p.m. given on the Internet for Wednesday was covered with a notice saying 4 p.m. - so we waited in the vehicle for two hours in the cold and drizzle, with a few others with us, who also drove off again in frustration. Then the restaurant at the campsite was supposed to be open, but unfortunately it was also taped over with the words closed today due to a lack of staff. The "dog bar" was filled with green water, undrinkable. Really bad first impression. The check-in was with an unnerved employee, the towels in the toilet were empty. No cycle paths - either the main road, which is also busy with lorries and dangerous with bends, or steeply uphill on a less busy road. We didn't find any hiking trails on our first tour either. We actually wanted to leave again the next day.... Then we discovered some excursion destinations with the help of the brochures on display (the question about hiking trails was only answered in an exasperated manner, so that we still didn't know where they were supposed to be). Hiking trails go over the main road to the left, about 80 meters, and went by e-bike via the detour to the left high up over to Pottenstein (about 5 kilometers, also no bike path, but far less busy). The catering on site is really very good, we used it every day and the staff and operators turned out to be very nice (only quite overworked). We ended up staying for 5 days. It was irritating to pay 3.90 euros a day for electricity and 1.50 a day for garbage - for throwing EVERYTHING into a container. When there are youth groups at the campsite at the weekend, the men's sanitary facilities were dirty and some of the toilet paper was empty.

"Everything is fine - The next time we go to the area, we will only consider the CPL. You rarely find such clean sanitary facilities despite full occupancy and the restaurant offers tasty food. The service in the restaurant is also fast and friendly

"Beautiful camping site - Were very satisfied! Sanitary facilities clean and good! The lady at the reception nice and since we arrived after 19:00 due to traffic jam helpfulness to choose places assigned: Relief 😮‍💨 and were very satisfied! Will definitely come again! Oh and don't forget the bread roll service! It was nice ‼️

"Performance does not match the price - Beautifully situated, surrounded by rocks. However, the sanitary facilities for the tent meadow are inadequate. Soap and toilet paper are already empty in the evening. The pitches are very narrow, right next to each other without hedges. There is no WIFI, showers and garbage cost extra. There is no waste separation at all. There are 2 huge garbage containers, but not even a garbage can at the sink. Not a trace of friendliness. Conclusion: Price and performance do not match at all. During the day, the street is also unfortunately quite noisy.

"Great surroundings, nice operator, beautiful parking space - We were able to choose the pitch ourselves. We chose a pitch right by the pond in front of the rocky backdrop. The electricity box was a bit further away, about 60 m, but no problem for us. According to the operator, another power box will be installed here next year, so that you can get by with a normal length of cable. The site is located on a road but at night it is hardly frequented and during the day little. There is a bread roll service and a restaurant. We found the prices okay. The existing website unfortunately does not reflect the charm of the place. We felt comfortable. The original 3 planned nights became 7.
