We stayed here spontaneously for two days on our way back from Italy. And we'll definitely be back!
I've never seen a sanitary building like this in almost 20 years of camping, many a hotel can take a leaf out of its book. It was also always perfectly clean.
The restaurant is very good, but has its price.... However, this is quite justified.
The small store is also designed with so much attention to detail (like everything else). And at reception you feel like you're checking into a 4-star hotel.
We found everything perfect all round and found absolutely nothing negative.

More like a good restaurant and a great sanitary building
The three of us were guests at Alpencamping Nenzing from March 11 to March 14.
What can you write about the Alpencamping? A highlight of Alpencamping is the people who work there, including the site operator. Fully-equipped pitches, whereby it is not necessary to level the pitch so that the vehicle stands... horizontally.
Another highlight is the restaurant, which offers excellent food at reasonable prices despite multiple Michelin recommendations.
The sanitary building, which was completed around early summer 2024, is likely to be a trendsetter for all campsites in Europe.
There is only one negative point to note - a poop bag station for dogs can only be found at the entrance to the Alpencamping, another poop bag station should be installed at the dog bath, for example.
We will certainly be guests at Alpencamping again and again on our way south, although it is a detour for us, that's how good this campsite is.

We are overwhelmed, beautiful place, pure luxury. Very nice sanitary facilities. We received a very friendly welcome. Mr. Morik showed us the pitch assigned to us and immediately said it wasn't suitable for you, it was too small and immediately gave us another one. The terrace pitches are great, you can see over the other pitches.

The sauna area is very nicely done. But it is very cramped. Everyone wants to go to the sauna when the weather is bad. We must have had a bad time.
Alpencamping Nenzing
It was very nice for us despite the bad weather, we'll definitely be back.
We also ate very well in the Grafenga restaurant and the staff were super nice.

This campsite is by far the best we have had.
The great view and the pools are just great.
The natural pool is also great for refreshing.
The guest card is just great for doing lots of things,
without having to drive.
Mr. Morik even personally gave us tips for hiking in the Nenzinger Himmel.
We had the Leading Lodge pitch, just great.
We'll be back next year.

The access road from Nenzing is a bit narrow but it is recommended to drive up from Frastanz anyway.
Alpine camping is always worth a trip.

Beautifully situated, sanitary facilities that are second to none, exclusive wellness facilities and 2 exquisite restaurants.

Relax days in the premium chalet
The many reports from German Television about Alpencamping Nenzing made us curious. For Christmas 2024, I surprised my husband with a voucher for relaxing days in a premium chalet.
Unfortunately, we had to postpone the booked days for work reasons, which was handled without any complications by the Alpencamping... team.
On January 23, the time had finally come. We were warmly welcomed and our luggage was taken to the chalet. The chalet was simply fantastic. Cozy, comfortable, stylishly furnished, we felt very much at home. The rich and lovingly prepared breakfast, which was delivered to our door, blew us away.
Thanks to the perfect weather, we had a great view. A short walk and we were in the spa area with pool and sauna area. We also treated ourselves to the massages, which we can highly recommend. It was so good that we became repeat offenders.
In the evening, we indulged in the culinary delights. A real treat for the palate, even for vegetarians.
You can tell that everyone is passionate about what they do and that the well-being of their guests is their top priority. We had sometimes read that the price was too high. We can't confirm that. The quality and service are worth every euro.
All in all, we had wonderful and relaxing days and are already looking forward to the summer, when we will spend a week with the camper.

Well... Winter yes, summer no thanks!
The first and probably the last time we were there in summer.
In winter it's beautiful there, quiet and easy to relax, in summer it's the opposite. Loud, hectic and not of the same quality as in winter.
In the restaurant you are "dispatched", we got the main course DIRECTLY after the starter, and were... finished with EVERYTHING in 40 minutes.
The outdoor pool was used by families and was so full that nobody could swim there, it was incredibly loud, you couldn't hear your own words. Unfortunately you can also hear everything at the natural pool, which is right next to it.
Actually a great pool landscape, but for the masses of campers PLUS day guests, simply far too small, it is not possible to get loungers during the day. The small lawn in front of the pool is only used by families.
Anyone longing for relaxation will be very unhappy here in summer.
In addition, many things cost extra, although the place already belongs to the luxury category and is therefore already very expensive.
The reception is very unfriendly and reacts snappishly to questions.

We did NOT have any of these experiences in winter. It's a shame that it's like this here in summer...

Beautiful campsite.
We really enjoyed our stay for two nights. Nothing was missing and the view in the morning was outstanding. We would definitely consider staying here again.

The newly built family bathrooms are very nice, if a little dark. Pool area: very nice. Service in the restaurant: very friendly and courteous.

Dogs are more welcome on the restaurant terrace than children. With our family of six (including a toddler in a high chair), we pushed two tables of four together... on the first evening to be able to sit properly due to a lack of alternatives. On the second evening we were denied this because the manager no longer tolerated it. So we had to split into two tables, which in the end also left no more room for other guests. At the next table, a lapdog was naturally placed in a basket on a chair and fed FROM THE TABLE...

When I wanted to empty the cassette toilet (carried down from the 5th camping terrace!) I realized that the pleasure should cost 2 EUR! With no money in my pocket, I had no choice but to lug the tank back up to the vehicle. In our 14 years of camping, we have never had to pay for waste disposal! And that at a price of 65 EUR/night.

The surroundings are not very well-kept, the paths to the chalets are overgrown with thorns, the sun loungers in the family pool area are a bit run-down, which cannot be said of the adults' area.

As a precaution, we had booked an XL pitch for our caravan with a length of 6.75 m including drawbar. This was a good thing, as many of the normal pitches looked full with a panel van. The level pitches, arranged in terraces, are all finely gravelled and have all the usual connections and a wonderful... view of the mountains.
The organization and friendliness of the staff were very good. The Garfrenga restaurant served good food at reasonable prices.
We were completely disappointed with the swimming pool. The indoor pool is so small that you can stay in it but not swim. With 2 to 3 strokes you are at the other end. There are some loungers right next to the pool. According to the campsite rules, the pool area should be absolutely quiet, which is completely utopian. Families with small children are also a target group for this campsite. They naturally use the pool and have fun.
You could swim in the outdoor pool. A few youngsters were throwing a football at each other in the water. They were having fun and behaving well. They are also welcome guests at this campsite. Unfortunately, swimming was no longer possible for the other guests.
The new sanitary facilities were still under construction. That's why the private bathrooms, which could be rented for an extra charge, were open to all guests. However, there was no soap or towels at the washbasins.
We paid €92 per day for the XL pitch at Easter, including the swimming pool but excluding the sauna. What did we get for that money? A pitch with all connections and a beautiful view, an indoor pool that was too small for swimming, a relaxation area that we couldn't use because of the background noise, and an outdoor pool that you could sometimes swim in.
Conclusion: The price-performance ratio is in no way right. We have had much better experiences at other luxury spa resorts. We won't be back.

We were guests of the Alpencamping Nenzing for one night from March 15 to 16.

The friendliness of the staff is the absolute highlight of Alpencamping.

The outstanding restaurant, the sanitary facilities, the facility itself are excellent but the staff of Alpencamping Nenzing

make Alpencamping what it is, one of the best campsites in Europe.

We will be back again one day and then definitely not just for an overnight stay.

New favorite place
We were guests at Alpencamping Nenzing for 4 days with our small dog and our caravan. The reception was very friendly, we were accompanied to our pitch and a long power cable was brought to us as my husband had forgotten to pack it. In the evening we had a very good meal in the restaurant, the meat was... of very good quality and the service was also very nice. The next day we went to the indoor pool in the afternoon, unfortunately we couldn't swim out, but ok, repairs are a must. The water was pleasantly warm and the massage jets were great. Pure relaxation for us. 2 days later we also visited the sauna, 2 beautiful panorama saunas on the upper floor and in the basement a beautifully decorated area with a steam bath and 2 more saunas. I didn't think 17 euros per person was too expensive. The sanitary building is also great, everyone has their own small bathroom.
On the last day, the outdoor pool was open and it was wonderful to swim in the open air with a view of the mountains. After 9 days we came back for another 2 days on the way home. We ate well again and enjoyed the outdoor pool.
Despite the building site, we had very nice days and we will definitely be back.

Due to the terraced hillside location of the site, the pool activity can be clearly heard in some places throughout the day, especially on hot days.
Excellent campsite in a beautiful location
We are traveling as a family with children aged 7-12 years.
For us, Alpencamping Nenzing is the most beautiful place we have visited in many years of camping. And we always enjoy coming back to Nenzing for a break.
The bathhouse and the charm of the campsite with its beautiful decorative elements, which... make the campsite a unique feel-good place, is unique for us!
Despite the professional management, the Morik family and their team manage to create a very personal atmosphere at the campsite.
