We were able to completely unwind in no time at all and got to break in our new RV while we were there.
The owners, Nadine and Andy, have been hard at work since May and have already accomplished so much. On top of that, they’re exceptionally warm and welcoming... to their guests. Please keep it up, believe in your goals, and hang in there!
The restroom facilities are simple, but they have everything you need and are always kept very clean.
The campground has a great location right on the dike. There’s a small barbecue snack bar directly across the way, and the nearest (very good) restaurant is a five-minute walk away. We even got to watch a flock of sheep at sunset.
It’s just a stone’s throw to Büsum (barely 10 minutes by bike).

The best thing about this campground is its size—here, you’re not just a number. The sense of community among the year-round campers and the integration of the seasonal campers work out great. If you bring children,... you can count on everyone here to look out for their safety. People are always willing to listen and offer kind words. There’s a large common room as well as several outdoor seating areas where you can relax with coffee or other drinks. This campground is also ideal for older campers. The walk to the washrooms and restrooms is short. Assistance is always available for older campers, so they can enjoy a peaceful vacation here. We’ve seen it all over the past 40 years, and Nadine and Andy are among the best. They may be the newcomers, but they’re doing a fantastic job. So go ahead and give them a try—they deserve this chance.

Sanitär ist schön sauber, völlig egal dass es etwas älter ist. Super Service und jederzeit ansprechbar.

Everything has a very family-friendly atmosphere.NegativnoWe have not identified any significant drawbacks.North Sea VacationAs soon as we arrived, we were greeted with great friendliness and warmth. We were able to take our time looking around and choose the best spot. We were offered a welcome drink and a thorough orientation. We were given recommendations for leisure activities and restaurants. On Tuesdays, there was coffee... and cake featuring Pummel Hummels’ cakes and the Waffelmobil. Across the street is a very tasty snack bar. It’s only a few minutes by car to go shopping in Büsum. All in all, we had a wonderful time and would love to come back. The campground and its operators are a real hidden gem—highly recommended. Although the owners have only... been running the campground for a few weeks, they’ve already made so many improvements and enhancements—their dedication and attention to detail are evident everywhere.
The atmosphere is very family-like, making you feel welcome and at home right away. The great camaraderie with the long-term campers is also particularly pleasant—respectful, friendly, and laid-back.
Dogs are also warmly welcome here, which makes the stay especially pleasant for pet lovers. The restroom facilities are always clean and well-maintained, which further enhances the overall impression.

Despite the extreme amount of work that still needs to be done (legacy of the previous tenants and former campers), the two of them are always in a good mood, helpful and make every effort to ensure that everyone feels comfortable on the campsite.... If you don't want glamping but camping, this is the place for you. Pure peace and relaxation.
I am a permanent camper and they help us wherever they can. And vice versa! We were looking for a place because we wanted to go to the Nena concert, we got one here... and not just squeezed up but a great place.
Simply great, we felt really comfortable and would love to come again.
