The pitches are very steep and it is difficult to level the caravans. The campsite management is very friendly. The Swabian Alb is - even in midsummer - rough and cool, but you know that when you arrive and the campsite is right at the top of the rough Alb. It is wonderfully quiet there and the air is wonderfully fresh. Sanitary facilities clean and of a good standard. When it is busy, these could possibly be quite tight. We found it a disadvantage that the touring pitches of all categories are quite uneven with slopes and sloping, which could certainly... be remedied with relatively little effort (L stones, terraced in groups of 3 or 4). Overall, we were extremely happy with our stay and it certainly won't be the last time we've been there. The only thing that really bothered us were what felt like thousands of e-scooters, driven by children, some of whom still clearly... lacked the sense of responsibility to move these vehicles. There were almost accidents every day, especially on the narrow path between the sanitary building and the campsite. There should actually be a driving ban here. In addition, there is no meeting place for the adolescent group at night. The floor in the caravan was full of "dirt" after a very short time.
In the afternoon you can drive down or in at the pitch, the barrier is closed and reception is not manned.
The pitches for caravans are on a busy road with no privacy or noise protection.
