Olumlu yanları
beautifully situated place between several lakes, very clean also the sanitary facilities are clean, it is very quiet
Olumsuz yanları
Pitches for short-term campers are quite small Electricity flat rate of € 3.10 per night, but that is now almost normal, I would find it better if it were billed according to Kw/h
Beautifully situated place
It is a very nice campsite with many permanent campers which does not harm the cause but the staff is very very nice and friendly, it is all very clean also the sanitary facilities are very clean, there is even a lounge a kitchen for washing up is free hotplates washing machine and dryer against payment. All in all a very nice quiet place.

Olumlu yanları
Large pitch, very friendly staff, restaurant on site
Olumsuz yanları
W LAN only available occasionally, no bread roll service, unheated wash house
Nice quiet campsite
It was our first time at this campsite, which is beautifully situated between several lakes. Our pitch was near the registration desk with a view of the lake.
The reception was friendly.
The restaurant on site is highly recommended when it is open (Monday-Wednesday is closed).
The free W LAN is sometimes... available and sometimes not.
We were disappointed that we were not told on arrival that only one wash house was heated. We only found this out from other campers.
It is extremely unpleasant to shower in a cold wash house.
There is no bread service on the site, the nearest bakery is approx. 1.5 km away.
Otherwise you can explore the area on foot or by bike. The cycle paths are well signposted.

Beautiful location, great location for bike tours, very nice operators, warm permanent campers
Olumsuz yanları
2 of 3 sanitary facilities are unfortunately not heated No water withdrawal point at the pitch (but you can live with it)
8 wonderful days, lovely welcome, great pitch at the north gate
We received a very warm welcome, so the first day of our vacation got off to a great start. We had already booked our pitch at the north gate (no. 44).
The restaurant on the campsite is highly recommended, everyone here is friendly and nice.
You can start great bike tours from here, wonderful.
The operators... are great and all the staff were always friendly.
We had a great evening yesterday because we were invited by permanent campers for a freshly tapped beer. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Steffi "I love it", her husband and all the other lovely permanent campers we also met last night. It was soooo nice with you. Best regards from Elke and Werner from Oberhausen (the permanent campers from Hofgeismar).

Olumlu yanları
- Location, some pitches directly on the lake - town of Eschwege nearby - lots to discover
Olumsuz yanları
- Sanitary facilities clean, but already very outdated, deposit for a key 20 euros - Prohibition and information signs everywhere you look
Great location, great for a long weekend
We spent a long weekend here. The site is in a great location and easily accessible, even with larger caravans. It covers a relatively large area with several small lakes.
The site is dominated by permanent campers, but some of them have very well-kept, idyllic pitches on the shore with access to the... lake. Really very pretty to look at.
There is a restaurant next to the reception area. There is also a sanitary area, which can only be entered with the appropriate key. Deposit for a key: 20 euros (!) This is to protect against uninvited users, as this area is open to everyone. However, this can quickly lead to problems if several family members are traveling separately and need to do business or shower at the same time. So it's better to plan enough cash for the deposit for 2-3 keys...
One of the tourist camping areas is located right next to the reception and is beautifully situated right by the lake. Electricity and fresh water can be found within a few meters. Chemical disposal is also available. However, the parking lot for visitors, which is located directly next to the pitches and can be accessed at any time, is annoying. It can also be busy at night, with slamming doors and engine noise.
At the end of this area is where the permanent camper area begins. This is closed off with a barrier. The next sanitary facility is also located here in a round building, which also serves as a lounge and morning bread station with a large selection. We used both sanitary facilities. They look quite dated, but were clean and well-maintained at all times.
The grounds are ideal for walks around the lakes.
The site certainly has a lot more to offer. There was nothing more to explore this weekend. We will be back.

Directly on the lake with good relaxation and good bike paths.Eschwege is easy to reach on foot but better by bike

October 2019 - Trolley ride bike tours
We use the place to use the nearby trolley track with the kids. The place has a short-stay area by the water and a permanent parking area separated by a barrier, very quietly located, only the garbage trucks that arrive early disturb the peace. The city of Eschwege is just within walking distance, but we always used the bicycles and we got to know the operators as very nice and helpful people.

Olumlu yanları
Cleanliness, close to the cycle path and relatively close to Eschwege, value for money, bread roll service, leisure facilities for children
Olumsuz yanları
Lots of mosquitoes - unfortunately no paper bins on the paths for "small garbage" such as paper tissues or ice-paper....
Beautiful place
We were here over PESTER. We liked it very much. Everything was clean and the operators were very nice. Price/performance was also ok. We will certainly come back again.

Super suitable for children, you can eat cheaply and deliciously at lunchtime and in the evening. Great view over the lake. Operator very nice.
Olumsuz yanları
If it is a disadvantage: do not convert.
Beautifully situated campsite with lots of leisure activities
Beautifully situated site with lots of leisure activities. We've been here twice with the grandchildren, ideal for children. Swimming at the supervised beach with a giant slide. Boat hire, fishing, cycling and hiking. The restaurant is good and reasonably priced. The sanitary facilities are clean and... renovated. Dogs are allowed. Separate nudist area (own peninsula) town of Eschwege about 2.5 km, shopping facilities on site, shopping center about 1.5 km away.

Location, friendly staff, suitable infrastructure at a fair price
Olumsuz yanları
Lake only has sufficient water quality
Friendly staff and beautiful location
Short vacation over Corpus Christi: Friendly staff reserved us a pitch right on the water. Very clean site, good infrastructure (restaurant, playgrounds, beach, mini golf, sanitary building) and very quiet. Waste separation and electricity flat rate (6 amp). Common room. Showers without token (key against deposit). We had a lovely time and would like to praise the staff. They were all very friendly and helpful. We will be back.

wonderful leisure facilities, bathing lakes, boat hire, fishing, even a sandy beach - for two-day guests in spring still long distances to the sanitary facilities, perhaps overcrowded ("You are not registered? oh oh...")
