Very crowded during peak season. The loyalty program is not accepted. The shower gel and toiletries are a bit small. Doing laundry costs 150 kroner for two hours.
Large family campsite with lots of extras!
We were only here for a short time, but we really enjoyed it—especially the little town of Vadstena.

Beautiful place by the lake
We had a very nice overnight stay with the pitch by the lake! The reception was nice, a bit more complicated because we had to be created as First Camp customers first! The bonus program was not known! With the bike you can easily get to the village about 5 km to the castle. We did not hear the road!

Super place!
Were there in June! The place is indeed on the road, but if my previous speaker speaks of it, that there is someone from the staff is unfriendly I can not confirm! Can imagine if someone was perhaps overwhelmed with the navigation should not be so hard (worst place Sweden) that is not right!

Beautiful beach and mostly large pitches
Our navigation system could not find the site, the address is not correct and the site is listed with 2 names depending on the camping guide: Vätterviksbadet Camping or Vadstena Camping. As soon as you see the sign "Vadstena Camping" on the approach, follow it and you will find a well-kept campsite with... large, flat grass pitches right by the water with a beach, restaurant, beach bar, playgrounds and transportation with "Tuff-Tuff" to the town of Vadstena, which is well worth seeing. Unfortunately, the site is also located directly on a busy road, so there is no complete peace and quiet, but there are several sanitary buildings that were always clean during our stay, although the main building may not be entered with street shoes, the sign "Flip-flops welcome" indicates how you would like it to be. The reception staff were friendly, and there is a store with odds and ends, basic groceries and baked goods. Vadstena is also easily accessible by bike, approx. 3.5 km.

Loud, unfriendly.
Overcrowded place, unfriendly
This was the worst pitch on our trip to Sweden! Unfriendly reception, very noisy (site guests and road), sanitary facilities only accessible with a key. We left with horror!

To relax
Ideal starting point for visiting Motala. With its outdoor pool and playground, it is perfect for a vacation with children. It is also ideal for swimming in the adjacent Lake Vättern. The sanitary facilities were clean and in perfect condition. Unfortunately we only stayed 1 night, but you certainly won't get bored even if you stay longer.

Located on the road - noise.
Nice campsite
Camping on the lake, with rich infrastructure. It is clean, hot water, a special building for relaxation. The problem was to run the stove in the kitchen, not only for me. The downside is the location next to the road itself - seemingly a side road, but non-stop traffic, which generates noise.

High-quality equipment, but very loud
This campsite impresses with its beautiful location by the lake and the high-quality sanitary facilities. However, it is located directly on a busy road and when the wind is unfavorable you can also hear the cars from the freeway to Motola.

Vadstena is worth seeing, especially the monastery!

Place was very big and noisy, therefore not suitable for nature lovers.
Sanitary facilities absolutely first class
We were passing through - unfortunately the place was very noisy. ( night bar ) The service facility on the other hand was new and absolutely clean.

For us, this was one of the most beautiful campsites on our round trip. Unfortunately, the road that runs right past the campsite is a bit of a nuisance. The sanitary facilities are perfect! The small town of Vadstena is also highly recommended.

Super place, sanitary is the hit, spacious pitches, well maintained, overnight price for 2 persons with 34, - € very expensive, otherwise the place is recommendable. 3 km walk to the old town of Vadstena. Be sure to visit the vintage market on Wednesdays, simply great.

Beautifully situated on the lake, everything is new, the pool is open in the HS, motorboats for hire. Be sure to visit the harbor and castle in Vadstena. Always windy.

Had a cabin, view of the water, cleanliness okay, shower would have been nice for 800 SEK per night. Campsite right on the road, but not noticeable in front of the water, beach and water okay.

Stayed one night. 3 kilometers north of Vadstena. Long site directly on the lake, but also on the road, which is not very busy at night. Several bathing spots. Long slide for pool not in operation, also W-LAN should only work next week. But completely new sanitary building, well equipped with group kitchen... and large kitchen for single travelers, families. Everything very clean and spacious. Store okay, little tourist information, e.g. nothing about Talkern-Vogelsee, but that could be made up for in the town. Staff very friendly.

Due to its location on the main road to Motala, it is with regularity that a vehicle (truck) passes during the night. Two new washrooms were installed last winter and looked tip-top.
