a dream
I would have loved to stay for weeks. Long stretched out place on the coast. With a great view of the sea. My new favorite place. I just wondered why there was always a campside full sign on the road. It was never really full. We had booked by phone the day before. Everything was wonderful. The site... is between Tintagel and Boscastle, which is slightly different from the map. Unfortunately, at 40 pounds, it's not a cheap pitch and sometimes windy. We had quite a storm. The WW survived, but not all the poor tents.

no baker in the morning
Great location
Positive: 1. great location 2. clean 3. large pitches 4. friendly staff Negative: 1. no shade 2. no baked goods in the morning, nearest bakery approx. 3 km away 3. arrival only until 6 pm, later only with advance notice. No staff present at night. 4. practically no leisure facilities on the site: only... mini playground, no bar, no restaurant, simply nothing at all 5. the caravans must be positioned exactly on the pitches due to fire safety regulations, otherwise there will be trouble with the warden. Turning the caravan so that you can have breakfast in the sun in the morning is forbidden. 5. sanitary facilities: the washbasins only have 1 cold and 1 hot water tap, no mixer tap. This means you burn yourself when washing your hands or only have cold water (this is not 21st century!)

Cornwall at its best
Fantastically situated campsite on the cliffs. The sanitary facilities are modern, available in sufficient numbers and very well maintained. The site is in very good condition overall and the staff are very friendly. There are only a limited number of pitches for tents (but they were never fully booked... during our week at the beginning of August), which are located directly on the coast. Sometimes it is quite windy, so storm-proof tents are recommended. Prices are on the higher end, but absolutely justified. The Coastpath leads directly past the campsite, in about 1 hour you can be in Tintagel or Boscastle. The beach is about half an hour's walk away in the direction of Tintagel and offers a wonderful sandy beach at low tide.

In the middle of nature
With its great view, it is one of my absolute favorite campsites. You have a wonderful view of the cliffs of Cornwall. You can hike directly into the Rocky Valley from the campsite. Definitely recommended. Tintagel in the footsteps of King Arthur is also highly recommended. In Tintagel you can park your motorhome in the large parking lots. The toilet and sanitary building is new and very clean.

Fantastic location right on the coast! An absolutely clean site with excellently maintained sanitary facilities. The owner couple are extremely friendly and helpful. Very quiet site with various excursion options nearby: Boscastle, Tintagel and "Tintagel Castle", Port Isaac etc. If you're looking for peace and quiet and fantastic scenery, this is the place for you. Highly recommended!
