The campsite is excellently located on a crystal-clear lake.
The service and care of the staff is simply super.
Nothing is missing. There is something special for everyone.
There is a new sports equipment... area with a view of the lake, rental cars, bicycles. Bobby-cars for the little ones, a book barrel, bike station with tools, very clean toilets and the best thing is that you have the option of using your own bathroom with shower and toilet at the booked pitch.
The bitter aftertaste this year was the so-called Italian restaurant. Price and performance did not match. A very unfriendly host and the question do I need Italian food in the Spreewald?
A restaurant with local dishes would be more appropriate. The many guests got to know the Spreewald specialties, traditions and culture better.

We stayed on a very nice double campsite in the forest. The location and facilities were very nice and above all family-friendly. The electricity network is very poor. However, we were very shocked by the service and the... humanity of the staff. I had an accident on the playground and someone went to reception to report it. There was neither help nor at least a cold pack. We had to call the ambulance on our own and even instruct it ourselves, which was very awkward with a child and everything. Later, there was also no information until when it was possible to drive in and out by car. We noticed the poor service as soon as we arrived, where everything went haywire because several people arrived at once. What was also very questionable was the early morning lawn mowing right next to us while we ate breakfast. The dust landed on the food and there was a lot of smoking going on.

However, with temperatures around freezing point, the heating was too weak. That's why we broke off our vacation early. The staff were very understanding. In the evening we went to the restaurant with excellent food and attentive staff.

A really great place that leaves nothing to be desired.
The operators are very friendly and helpful, the sanitary facilities are very modern and clean (showers included).
We stayed on a comfort pitch with a view of the lake, a plot approx. 90-100 square meters... in size, with fresh and grey water connections, electricity also included. We were in partial shade and separated by hedges, which we liked very much.
Although the site was fully booked, it was quite quiet and more relaxed than we expected with our two German shepherds.
There is a bathing beach, several small bathing spots and a dog beach!
There is a bread roll service, a bistro and an Italian restaurant where you can also order takeaway, and there is a barbecue meat machine on site!
Shopping facilities and sights are easy to reach by car or bike.

The pitches are pleasantly large and have beautiful trees. There is a varied playground for the children. The site has 2 sanitary blocks, one new and one beautifully renovated. There is a third one in the area for permanent campers. The site can be reached... from the highway in just a few minutes. There is also a sauna, a dog shower and a camperclean. There is a good Italian restaurant with a bowling alley next to the reception. Despite good occupancy, we never had the feeling that the campsite was overcrowded. On the contrary, the various bathing areas and two wash houses made it easy to get around. The staff are very welcoming and greet new arrivals on a first-name basis. In this case,... our pitch was a Comfort Seeblick, which is large enough and has a very nice view. But all the other pitches we saw were also large enough and nicely decorated. The price-performance ratio is very good overall 👍 Supply and disposal is very well organized. Unfortunately, we had to leave earlier than planned due to our little one, but that wasn't a problem for the staff either - they were even more understanding as our son is the same age.

The staff always have a smile and a solution ready. The shuttle to Lübbenau is a great service.
It's also nice to be able to hire a car from the campsite to explore the Spreewald. There is a sauna... with hot tub and cooling off in the lake on site.
Fresh bread rolls and a vending machine with barbecue food from the local butcher round it all off. Simply wonderful. Someone here has thought about what you need and how it should be. Perfect.

What we didn't like about the premium pitch was that there was no waste water connection and you had to clean the bathhouse yourself on departure. After all, you pay more than for another pitch. 😎
