Beautiful place with lots of nature
We had a great time and can highly recommend the campsite in the south of the island as a starting point.

If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you!
We stayed at Sandviks Camping for four nights and loved it right from the start. The site is on the island of Öland and, like everything else on the island, is very sparse. You have the sea right next to the site and can also stand in the first line to the sea, but without electricity. The pitches with... electricity are beautifully situated under pine trees. We received a very friendly welcome and were allowed to choose our own pitch. In general, the site was very empty during our stay, perhaps because there were no tourists due to Corona. The sanitary buildings are not 5-star standard but are tidy and clean. It was perfectly ok for us.

Conclusion: If you are looking for peace and quiet and don't need a lot of amenities on site, this is the place for you.
