Profil
Convenient location of Rockland camp allows for travelers find it easily, and use it for stop point on the way to (or out) Greece, through the Macedonia. Rockland camp it's a place about 6000 m², located in the pretty town … Demir Kapija. On the land of camping there are one guest house and summer kitchen, where you can prepare food and have a rest. In guest house there are: one common room with two-storey beds for 6 persons and one communicating room with a sofa for one or two person, the kitchen with a refrigerator, gas stove, crockery and all necessary appliances, two toilet blocks with showers (for male and female). The nearest shop is about 5 minutes walking. In the city center there are few cafes, supermarket, pharmacy, ATM, shops, bus and train station and it's about 20 minutes walking. Demir Kapija is the place for rest and outdoor activities. You can go climbing, mountaneering, hiking, fishing, rafting and swiming here. There are two popular wineries in Demir Kapija, where you can try exellent wine and traditional food.

From the highway Skopje – Athens (E-75), by the pointer to Demir-Kapija (Демир-Капиjа), you should enter the town and go there by the main street to the bridge about 1 km and 400 m. Then continue your way through the … bridge and by the main road, and turn right. After less than 100 m turn left, continue your way about 500 m and then again turn right. After 100m will be Rockland camp. The distance from Skopje is 117 km, which takes about an hour by car or two hours by train ‘Skopje – Gevgelija’. Distance to the border with Greece is about 80 km. The nearest international airports are: in Skopje (Alexander the Great Airport), in Ohrid (Ohrid St. Paul the Apostle Airport, 195 Km), in Thessaloniki (International Airport “Macedonia”, 121 Km).
