Olumlu yanları
Natural, relaxed atmosphere, uncomplicated
Olumsuz yanları
Wastewater is discharged untreated into the fjord
relaxed place
We didn't feel comfortable in Odda and ended up at this site spontaneously. It is completely uncomplicated. Just drive up, choose a pitch, the operator comes by twice in the evening and collects the money. A few nice words - that's it. Top! Because we liked it so much, we stayed an extra night and went... on a hike into the mountains right behind the campsite. It was great fun. The nature there is beautiful, but you have to climb a bit and be in good shape. If there was a better solution for the waste water, we would give it a 5.0.
The sanitary facilities are practical and clean. There is also a small kitchen and washing machine.

Location
Olumsuz yanları
Too many fireplaces
Very nice, located directly on the fjord
A beautiful, unparceled, but simply equipped campsite with free choice of pitches. Everything is very uncomplicated. The campsite manager walks around in the evening and collects money. There is no reception as such. The sanitary facilities were brand new in summer 2020, but quite tight. The two showers... lacked such rudimentary things as coat hooks and mirrors.
The campsite is laid out in terraces. At the bottom, you are beautifully situated directly on the fjord under trees. There are numerous fire pits here, which are also used diligently. For the campers on the terraces in the second and third row on the meadows, the constant smoke from the fire pits can be a bit annoying in the long run, as the wind usually blows from the fjord. In our opinion, a few fewer fire pits would do the trick.
Nevertheless, we can definitely recommend the site. It has a chilled atmosphere and there are an extraordinary number of leisure activities in the immediate vicinity.
Tip: If you don't fancy smoky clothes or tents from the fire pits, you should look for a spot behind or to the left of the wash house.
