Square in the middle of the village
The campsite is located in the town, with all its advantages and disadvantages. There are shopping and catering facilities in the immediate vicinity and on the site. The restaurant on site has a good selection of dishes at normal prices. As there are many regulars, it is a lively place until late in... the evening, especially at weekends. The reception is friendly and you can get by quite well with French and Spanish. As a German-speaking tourist, you should also be aware that this is Portugal. Or does everyone really understand Portuguese in German campsites? The sanitary facilities are in good condition and are regularly checked and cleaned. Conclusion: A place I would visit again.

Sanitary facilities in need of minor refurbishment.
A pleasant space suitable for all types of campers and caravanners.
As well as having shaded pitches and plenty of privacy, it also has ample space to suit families, couples with or without children, children etc., as well as groups of young people. All the facilities and support services operate on a regular basis.

One of the best I know
Excellent. One of the best I've ever been to. Quiet, spacious for all types of camping, private as it has alveoli surrounded by bushes. Set in a shady pine forest. Great swimming pool (paid for). Plenty of electricity and water points. Many bathrooms. Some more modern than others, but cleaned 3-4 times a day (in summer). ATM, café/bar, excellent mini-market. Clean and with paths throughout the park. I've been to this park several times.

Helpful reception staff, relatively far to the beach, nice place with lagoon, worth seeing, stores close to the campsite. Sanitary facilities need to be renovated!

The campsite is located on the outskirts of Villa Nova de Milfontes. There are two city streets in the front area, so the noise level is high. Opposite the access road is a small football pitch which is used by young sports enthusiasts until late in the evening. It is approx. 7 ha in size. It is located... in a shady pine forest covered with hard earth or soft sand. It is about 1.5 km to the coast, where there is a beach below the steep cliffs. Of the 200 pitches, around 50 are occupied by permanent guests. The sanitary facilities are in need of major overhaul. There is no hot water for washing or rinsing. No washing machine, no dryer. The toilets are in a deplorable state. The toilet for wheelchair users becomes an obstacle course. No English spoken at reception.
