Zero service, but far too expensive
Not again
No idea where this place got its good ratings! Barren site,
no service, reception only open briefly in the evening with a grumpy groundsman. Very expensive for no service (NOK 400).
Shower 30 outrageous NOK extra. Quite nice scenery by the lake, but poor value for money.

Nice simple campsite. Boats on the lake are included. After 4 days the fifth is free (we had to use this because of illness). Good doctor in Nesbyen...

Very quiet campsite in typical Scandinavian self-service style. At the reception, which is only manned in the evenings, there is a "cash register of trust" with a discount scale if you stay longer than 3 days. A boat is even included for stays of 2 nights or more, which you can use to explore the beautiful... "lake" (which is actually just a large widening of the Nes). If you are looking for peace and quiet and also like to make a campfire on the beach, this is the place for you. The prices are very reasonable and the sanitary facilities are clean and in good order. There is also the option of renting small log cabins. We would love to come back!
