The perfect place for a break.

Spontaneously take a few days off
We had a premium pitch for 4 nights and we were completely satisfied and will definitely come back, as the indoor pool is perfect, especially in winter.
The restaurant was also very good and the prices were still very reasonable

Everything! The pitches are graveled and very large, the whole area is very well maintained and invites you to feel good! Great sanitary building, wonderfully warm indoor pool and outdoor pool, free bathing bus to the rottal-terme and the gastronomy incl. farm store is also great! we'll be back!

The reserved loungers in the indoor pool, but that's down to the campers and the fear of not getting a lounger!
A short break in November!
All around very nice, well-kept campsite with a very friendly team! Not overcrowded with permanent campers! We will be back!

Exemplary managed campsite
The campsite is well located, even if it is a little far from the thermal baths in Bad Birnbach. The infrastructure is excellent and the staff are courteous and friendly. Great importance is attached to environmental protection. The campsite is highly recommended without reservation.

Great place
One of the best sanitary buildings we have seen so far. Very good WLAN and a top restaurant on the site. Very friendly reception, you get all the necessary information. There is a DM, Edeka and Lidl nearby (approx. 1 km). Great cycle paths from the site.

Even the welcome at reception is warm and attentive to those arriving. The Premium pitch was huge for our small Hymer Eriba, but we enjoyed the ample space. The associated Premium sanitary building left nothing to be desired. Always clean throughout the stay. And in the Roßstall, the name of the restaurant on site, everyone is sure to find a meal to suit their taste. Here, too, the staff are friendly and even take time for a chat despite the "full hut". The same goes for the farm store, well-stocked with delicious bread rolls and everything you need. And the senior manager always pops up and chats with the locals in her cultivated Lower Bavarian. A feel-good oasis, it doesn't get any better than this. We were there for the third time and would love to come back from Lower Franconia.

When the place is full, as it was on our weekend (August 7-10, 2025), the thermal pool and the indoor pool are a little too small. The many "old people" (including us) felt like they could easily spend an hour in the wonderfully warm water. Since everything else is so perfect, this would be a small investment in the future.

Everything is just right here! I would like to emphasize the top sanitary facilities, the restaurant and the swimming pool! But also the very pleasant and very nice staff! We will certainly come back 3 times !!!

Beautiful campsite. A quiet site despite its size. Well-kept grounds and everything clean. Friendly and competent staff.

Very nice place for high demands.
The site is kept very clean. The sanitary facilities are super modern and always clean. The bathroom is just great. The food in the restaurant is excellent. The pond is beautifully landscaped.

A good time.
We had 4 great days with 2 of our granddaughters on a premium pitch near the sanitary facilities. Always clean, quiet with discreet music. We really liked the whole Arterhof site, including the always friendly staff in the beer garden. The fresh rolls in the morning were also good. My wife and I will be back.

We have been coming to the Arterhof every year since 2022! We really like the size of the pitches and the friendliness of all the staff! Also the huge selection of the Vital World! All around a great place to relax

At the most expensive place the WLAN was very bad, mostly only 1 line! Between 1 and 3 pm, s'Hofcafe closed.
Nice quiet place
Nice place, unfortunately they said on the phone that they only had the place with the bathhouse or on the meadow, which we didn't want as it was raining.
This was the most expensive pitch, but very pleasant, WC, shower and washbasin, just for us. Washing machine for drying and washing up, shared with... 5 pitches. The pitch was very large, surrounded by a hedge, as with many other pitches.
With the dog you are quickly outside, even the smallest dog would understand that. Except the owners.

Very nice campsite;
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities were in top condition and very clean. The swimming pool with the outdoor thermal pool was fun to swim in. We would love to come back.

Top place in the Bavarian spa triangle
What a stay! This place is definitely worth a visit, but please book in advance - word has gotten around that it's good here :-).

On arrival, everything is well signposted, there is a waiting room and after a short check-in where we received a very friendly welcome, we were allowed to drive onto our... premium pitch.
The paths are easy to drive on, even for larger vehicles.
The pitches are large and nicely laid out, and from the Premium category upwards they are also supplied with water/drainage and even gas. Cable TV is also included.
What more could you want? That's right, there are also pitches with their own bathroom on site. But do you need that with the sanitary buildings?
If you are looking for a little more privacy, the Premium pitches are a good choice as they are surrounded by a hedge on three sides. There is also access to the Premium sanitary building for these guests only. This is very nicely furnished but the facilities are on a par with the already very good Stadelwaschhaus. The only criticism of the premium sanitary building is that there are only 2 toilets in the men's area, which is simply not enough when there is a rush, luckily there is another sanitary building...
The thermal area is certainly a highlight of this place, it's very good to relax in the warm outdoor pool. There is also the possibility of numerous treatments, massages on site etc...

I would also like to mention the restaurant on Platz, which is well worth a visit. The cooking is very good, there is a menu at lunchtime, theme evenings in some evenings and even a breakfast buffet on Sat/Sun.
In the store you can buy what you need and fresh bread rolls every day without pre-ordering. There are also several stores within 1km of the hotel that are easy to reach by bike.
With the guest card you can take the bathing bus to the center for free, where there are a few stores. The region is also very suitable for excursions on foot or by bike.

We would love to come back!

Organization of the New Year's Eve event and some were allowed to reserve the lounge, unfortunately not us with 6 people for St. Aend. There are double standards.
Beautiful place with organizational shortcomings
The place is well maintained, the wash houses clean and tasteful, the thermal swimming pool is great.
For New Year's Eve we had a reservation with 6 people for dinner with atmosphere and music. Although we had booked months in advance, we were seated in a super cramped adjoining room, no music, no entertainment... program.... Even though we had booked and paid for it. If we had been told in advance that we would have to sit in this adjoining room, we would have canceled the reservation. It was a bit like booking a concert and then having to sit in the cellar.

Considering the short amount of time we were there, we couldn't find anything negative except as mentioned before, a drinking option after the sauna (which is charged separately) could be a nice thing.

We were very surprised by the beautiful location of the campsite.
The friendliness of the reception
restaurant and other staff was outstanding.
The allocated pitch was large and equipped with everything.
The sanitary area was always super clean and in great condition.
Swimming pool inside and outside... top.
Sauna area also very clean, the only thing missing was a water dispenser for after the sauna.
We felt very comfortable in all areas and have already booked our next visit to relax.
PS. Our dog also felt very comfortable, could go on nice walks and use the great dog shower.

Fall vacation
We had another wonderful time at the Arterhof. So far we have had different, but always very nice pitches. Short distances to the sanitary facilities and the indoor pool. Very good cuisine in the restaurant. We would love to come back.

Our rating of the Arterhof
We had spontaneously booked the Arterhof, we liked it so much that we extended our stay. The area invites you to go on excursions, then in the evening a visit to the campsite spa with nice conversations. It was a cure for body and soul.

I didn't find anything negative, everything fits. Maybe cell phone trays in the toilets? 😅
Simply great!
Our first impression was excellent: we arrived early and had to wait for reception to open, which we sweetened with coffee and Kaiserschmarren. As an Austrian, I know what a Kaiserschmarren must taste like - this was one of the best I've ever eaten!
In general, the food is really good at normal to reasonable prices.
The pitches are nice and big, water and waste water on site, great new sanitary building, .... Super pitch!
