It's a nice campground. We had a site outside, in front of the gate. We were given a key to the restroom building. Unfortunately, there was only one shower and one toilet. We had to go to the main building to wash dishes and use the chemical toilet. The exit is very narrow; we were lucky that no other guests were there, so it went smoothly. It’s also a shame that the grass was tall and hadn’t been mowed. But the groundskeeper was very friendly.

A Campground for Relaxation
Beautiful, spacious sites, so you can easily park a 7-meter-long RV. The restrooms are always clean—they’re cleaned regularly, at least three times a day—and are fairly new. The bread delivery service is perfect. With the guest card, you can use the buses (e.g., the community bus); the stop is just a... few meters away on foot. With its flowers and small seating areas at the reception, the campground has a very inviting and harmonious atmosphere. However, I have to deduct one point because the “lawn” isn’t actually a lawn at all—it’s a field full of stumps that can really hurt you. We started by cutting off the tall stumps with a pair of side cutters. Even the grass at the nearby ferry parking lot is nicer and better maintained. Otherwise, I can highly recommend this campground. The ladies at the reception desk are very nice and attentive. We’ll definitely be back.

A quiet, cozy spot. Shopping options in Eckwarder (5 km) are fine.
Vacation in Butjadingen
A lovely, peaceful stay at the edge of Butjadingen. Disposing of waste from the RV was a bit of a hassle. Clean restroom facilities. A washhouse is currently being renovated. We’d love to come back.

Unfortunately, not so good
The campground could use a little more attention. The outdoor facilities weren’t very well maintained.
Unfortunately, the layout of our mobile home wasn’t as described online. The double bed was supposed to be in the center, but it was against the wall. For others, this might be a minor issue, but for... us, it was unfortunately very important. Unfortunately, the double bed was also sagging in the middle, and the bench was worn through. The toilet was very narrow (I’m of average build), and I bumped my hip against the toilet paper holder or sink every time. The restroom facilities, on the other hand, were very well-maintained and spacious.

It is not recommended to play the ball outside the designated area, but the football field had not been cleaned in a while. Beach volleyball court was promised on the website did not find it Those electricity and water points on the pitch are placed so that it’s difficult to turn bigger camper van out. And the worst feedback is that when we were leaving after staying several days we’ve got complains from the camp manager. The discussion was more like plaiming customer then a professional ”how did your staying here went” kind of discussion. We found out that visitor should not use air conditioning or you should inform camping abaut the air condition that you have. There is no mentioning about no air conditioning is allowed in camping side rules. The lady who is camping manager was not friendly to us. Also we were accused of having more dogs than we actually have. The plaim was that we did not pay for all the dogs. This was even mentioned in our information in their system. This was a very unpleasant discussion. Not the best end to our stay.
Disappointed with the treatment and service
If use of air conditiong is not allowed that should be mentioned in the rules or terms and conditions of camping site.

Very, very bad!
I have never given a rating on any stays before, but in this case it is important to me! The mobile home was in very poor condition, and the outdoor facilities are also very unkempt. In addition, the cleanliness in the bungalow left a lot to be desired, even though there is an extra charge for this.... The house itself is very small and cramped, the layout is very ill-conceived, I was only there on my own, but it is designed for four people, just shaking my head! Never ever recommended!

Very narrow paths for larger vans, poor condition of the WoMo supply station, drastic restrictions for dogs outside the campsite
Price-performance ratio is not right
I would recommend the site with reservations. The pitches are paved and large enough, the lawn is well maintained. The modern sanitary building was very clean at all times.
My husband and I were traveling with a van (6.40m). The access to the pitch was narrow, the pitch number was nowhere to be found... (except on the printed map). The disposal station for chemical toilets and camper vans is located directly next to the children's playground, and access is also very narrow there. A sign indicates that there is also a place to fill up with fresh water. However, there is only one hose at the sink, which is apparently used to flush the chemical toilet and fill up with fresh water. The employee at the registration desk referred to the drinking water points on the pitch. However, not everyone has a hose with different connectors on board. And if there is fresh water at all the pitches, it would be good if these taps were also kept free of weeds/grass growth.
The site has a high proportion of permanent campers, who enjoyed partying during our stay.
The region praises itself as dog-friendly, but in fact, dogs are not allowed on the dyke or on the small beach within walking distance of the campsite.
The price of more than €60 per night is not appropriate for this campsite.

Okay for a weekend
An extended weekend and if you don't need much, perfectly fine. We wouldn't want to stay any longer. The permanent campers are very numerous and behaved as if you were invading their territory.

Very nice campsite
I didn't really miss anything, it was quiet clean, the staff very friendly, only a small store where you can get the most necessary things would be nice.

Very quiet
The sanitary facilities were modern and clean.
However, we lacked a bit of a program on a May 1st weekend and the lawns were all very long, so playing soccer was not possible. Also, the big MenschÄrgereDichNicht was unfortunately not complete for playing and part of the climbing tower was broken.
The location directly behind the dyke is nice and the restaurant on top of the dyke tastes good too.
It is a quiet and idyllic location.

Lots of misinformation and unfriendly staff
There is still a lot of work to be done here
Positive are
-Pitch size
-Sanitary ladies. Always clean, very spacious and showers wonderfully warm
-Electricity and showers included
-the "location", you are really right behind the dyke.
Unfortunately, we noticed the following negative points
-Sanitary gentlemen, there was a lack of cleanliness and... the smell was underground.
-The rental bikes advertised on the website were not available. The groundsman said "yes, you have to delete that from the website"
-the Vamper clean listed on the park map was also not available, "We hope it comes soon"
- Bread roll service also missing. The groundsman said that the occupancy of the pitch was not worthwhile for the baker
But now our biggest point of criticism. We arrived at 1 pm with two motorhomes and waited dutifully in the parking lot until 3 pm and then went to check in. Instead of being greeted, the groundsman was very rude and told us we were an hour too early. Check in would be at 4pm. I denied this and pointed out to him that on the website, my booking confirmation and on the reception door it says 3pm for pitches. He said this was incorrect but then willingly checked us in again. We would have preferred to leave again. As long as they let someone like that loose on paying guests, we cannot recommend their campsite. We then complained to a lady who belonged to the campsite. She said there was a change of staff and they had just come out of the winter break (but according to the website the campsite is open all year round or is that another piece of misinformation).

Unfortunately, the restaurant is only open at weekends in January.
Perfect
We are at the camping park at least twice a year.
In winter we are usually alone on the Womobiel site. It's perfect for peace and quiet.
Dogs are welcome.

Expensive over the winter days.
Beautifully situated on the coast and very quiet.
We were there over New Year's Eve and had all kinds of weather conditions. We felt very comfortable on this campsite, but I think the price is very high for a pitch without water. We know that you have to turn off the water, but the fact that we still have to pay €60 per day is really high.

Top place, top care, quiet and dog-friendly
We were allocated a very nice pitch in a quiet location with excellent facilities (water and gray water at the pitch). Very friendly reception, flexible for extending the stay. Sanitary facilities impeccable. Very dog-friendly. We felt very comfortable.
