Quiet place
We were on the site at the end of September and it was already very empty. The site is clean and the pitches are spacious with their own water taps. The sanitary facilities are not new, but adequate. Only the showers are not good. You can't regulate the water temperature, you have to take what comes.... The staff are very friendly and helpful. You can get the essentials in the small store, but you can also shop nearby. The pizzeria is good and cheap. The garbage collection comes daily and you just leave your garbage in front of the plot (funny). The beach can be reached via a road (not a through road). There are free sun loungers there. The beach is coarse gravel and very dark. You can quickly reach the town center of Praia am Mare via the great (relatively new) beach promenade. The area is very attractive, also interesting in Dino Island.

Were here in the off-season, very little activity. Pools no longer in use, sea nice and warm.
Restaurant very good.
Excursion to the Isola di Dino worthwhile, not just downstairs ;-)

+ the whole team is super nice. You feel like you're part of a family. + the site is very large + the pitches are very clean + Each pitch is covered with a net, which keeps the pitch in a pleasant shade. + Water is available at every pitch + the market is quite well equipped and not overpriced. sometimes even cheaper than the supermarket in town + the beach loungers are free of charge for campers + Toilets are also available to sit on + Sanitary facilities are very clean + there are lots of sports facilities on site. Tennis, volleyball, basketball etc + Garbage is only put on the street and picked up there twice a day + Very good restaurant on site and not too expensive + Very few insects + Very well lit at night + and much more.

- the showers urgently need to be renovated. there is just a trickle of water coming out of the shower head. - the service vehicles are ancient diesels and stink up the whole place. You really don't want to eat there. - the train is extremely loud. there is simply no noise protection. - Temperatures in the showers are not adjustable. it is either very cold or very hot. - the pitches are not really suitable for caravans. they are simply too narrow for that. - the sports facilities are not well maintained and should be renovated. - There are also a lot more little things...
There is so much good and so much bad
You could write a book about this place....
There are so many unbelievably great things.
but also so many little things that dampen it and could easily be eliminated.

The place was a pleasant surprise
The access route suggested by the GPS from S18 was via adventurous hairpin bends through a residential or vacation apartment area into the plain and would also have led us into a <2.70m high underpass... It's better to take the SP1 in Tortora Marina straight away. The reception at the site was very friendly... (and German-speaking) and the pitch was large enough to comfortably park a caravan with awning and car. The site was very well maintained. The sanitary facilities are functional; although simple and no longer quite fresh (e.g. no hot water at sinks and washbasins, no wash cabins), but well maintained. You have to like evening "animation", especially if it is loud, the noise rather disturbs me. However, the sound system was stopped at 23:00. Also the train traffic of the railroad line running a few meters behind the place was greatly reduced at night and disturbed little; during the day the trains were more annoying. The food in the square restaurant is very good and reasonably priced. The store on the site (in low season) is adequate. The latter is not a problem, as the center is just under 2 km away. The pebble beach, which can be reached via the road, is of course uncomfortable without aids, but the water is very clear and pleasant for swimming.

Quiet place at the end of May
The part of the site to the right of the entrance almost exclusively permanent campers, only a few on the left-hand side. Friendly staff, clean and good sanitary facilities, water connection at every pitch, shade on all pitches thanks to mat roofs. No entertainment at the end of May so quiet, railroad... line behind the site. The sea can be reached via the shore road (no through road); wide and long coarse gravel beach, sloping quickly into the water, great water quality. Also a good starting point for exploring the beautiful villages in the hinterland.

Nice location by the sea. Close to the transit route to the south (A3 freeway).

The plumbing is not particularly nice, but serviceable. I have even encountered doors, which presumably contain asbestos.

This is a reasonable campground. It is not very luxurious, but still attractive for those visiting this region. Also suitable for those passing through on their way to Sicily. Located close to the A3 freeway.

Large site, separated from the sea by a wide road, with a railroad behind it with little train traffic (hardly any noise pollution). Parceled pitches in the pine forest, also many permanent campers. In June 2016, loud animation over loudspeakers in the mornings, afternoons and evenings

cp is great. animation good, but was even better a few years ago.minimarket emergency solution.restaurant has a little less choice, but the pizzas are fantastic and low priced.panorama very nice. the beach could be a little cleaner.unfortunately hardly any connection to the city about 2 km to the center of praia a mare.
