The lake is within walking distance, and Hückeswagen is easily accessible by bike (there’s always a bit of a hill in the Bergisches Land). There’s a bus stop right at the campground. Above the campground, there’s a meadow where you can park if you arrive at night.

You can go on very nice bike tours there (railroad route etc.). You can also go hiking there. Dogs are welcome!
