The water was often turned off in the washhouse. If there was any, it was only a trickle. This made it difficult to shower (also cold water). The few pitches are mostly small and only have about 40-50 square meters instead of the stated 80-100m2. The campsite is mainly occupied by mobile homes, the number... of which is apparently to be increased. Corresponding construction work is currently underway, i.e. in the high season. Other pitches are occupied by permanent campers. The stay must be paid for in full in advance, i.e. €28.29 for 1 person with pitch and electricity. I chose this campsite (Le Provencal in St.-Maximin-la-Ste.-Baume) on the basis of good reviews, but unfortunately I can't recommend it. I am disappointed with what I found there.

Good place
Was pleasant for us. Very uncomplicated. Tip top clean. Everyone very nice. Swimming pool is on the pitch. Table tennis 2x barbecue area. Gladly again.

Very well run site, just outside the town, beautiful location with a view of the Massif de la St.Baume. At least in the low season you should bring your own food (at the end of April there were no shops or restaurants nearby). Price: EUR 10.40 per night for one person with tent and bicycle (low season).
