Small but beautiful
The camp develops between the road, with little traffic at night, is the sea. Directly by the sea. Any pitch is only a few meters from the sea.

Camping with a feel-good factor
We have always felt very comfortable and come here again and again. There are still many beautiful sights in the area that we want to see.

Great sea, unfortunately lots of surfers
We have already been to this site twice, in 2013 (with tent) & 2015 (with caravan). So if you want a quiet location, then you should reserve the first or second row. everything behind it is quite noisy due to the adjacent road. Otherwise, it is fantastically beautiful, we stood with the caravan in the... first row by the sea and could practically put our feet in the sea when we got out (due to the rather short beach). What we didn't like so much was the number of surfers who ignored the markings for the swimming area, and it's also quite difficult to get a place in the front row. These are usually firmly in the hands of the surfers in question. The restaurant directly on the campsite was mediocre and, with a few exceptions, it was probably hot food from the freezer. However, there are plenty of alternatives directly at the campsite that are fresh, tasty and cheap. When we made a short detour to the site in 2017 (just to check on things by car), we noticed that the restaurant was closed, and the small mini-market was also quite sparsely stocked.

Beautifully landscaped square
Beautifully laid out campsite
The campsite is beautifully landscaped with palm trees and oleander bushes and is right on the beach. The rear part of the site on the other side of the road was not yet open in June. The pitches are parceled out and offer plenty of space and shade. The campsite is firmly in German hands and people know... each other. Lots of surfers with large camper vans. The beach is relatively narrow and the nearby Voidokilia Bay is recommended for swimming (10 minutes by car). The showers and toilets are quite cramped but sufficient. There are free freezers and fridges. The campsite has a well-stocked store. The small village has a few restaurants and bars.

CP with beach and enchanting sunsets
Around 5 km from Pylos (towards Kyparissa) on the bay. It belongs to the village of Gialova. Private (narrow) sandy beach, restaurant (closed in low season). Clean sanitary facilities, somewhat older but in good condition. Natural shade under eucalyptus trees. Mini-market. The site consists of two parts;... one is to the left, the other to the right of the busy and sometimes noisy road to Chora. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fine. We stayed at the campsite for five nights and were perfectly situated right on the beach with a view of the islands and the most beautiful sunsets.

the site is only suitable for windsurfing 5 sterne Pleasant environment, high occupancy of German windsurfers from ndr, almost unavailable in high season

Very nice campsite with large older trees, palm trees, bushes (oleander). However, immediately behind the campsite is a busy road where locals thunder past at well over 70 km/h. Be careful when crossing or walking (no sidewalk) to the nearby nice village center Gialova with its numerous restaurants.
