The relaxed atmosphere at the campground. And the incredibly friendly staff.

Actually nothing, at most the sinks for the dishes could have been a little more modern and sleek.
Very nice camping
A very friendly campground.
Owner bikes with you to your place.
No separations between tourist and dauer pitches.
Very good system with a Keycard for the sanitary rooms of the camping guests.
Situated very nicely in the Lahntal.
Yes there is a railroad bridge across the campsite, but you know that when... you get there.
Definitely come back.
Very special bread service, like almost everywhere order in advance....and in the morning it is ready on one of the tables of the terrace, even if you sleep in. :-)

Unfortunately, the campsite only has one washing area with two basins for washing up. So you have to expect a wait. We managed anyway.

Youth groups at the back by the trees, sometimes very loud. Very small pitches.
Closer to the water is nice.....
A beautiful place right on the water. Everything you need is there. Water, electricity, toilet and shower and everything quite clean.

As experienced caravan campers in our mid-50s, we were looking for a seasonal site on the Lahn last year and visited every single campsite along the Lahn from Lahnstein to Limburg. As campers with certain demands on the site and its location, the sanitary facilities and the general flair, we decided... on the Obernhof campsite. Why ? We have a beautiful pitch directly on the Lahn, very clean and tidy sanitary facilities, which are cleaned several times a day if necessary, a family-run business that is managed with a lot of heart, feeling and understanding. Yvonne and Dirk always have an open ear for the small and big needs of the campers. And even when the site is really full, there is always peace and quiet at night. A nice neighborhood in the camper community rounds off an absolutely positive overall impression. We definitely came to stay.
