We really liked the campground’s layout—everything is well-thought-out, well-maintained, and perfect for unwinding.
We were particularly impressed by the cleanliness. The entire campground and the restroom facilities were always very clean.... Added to that is all the greenery, which creates a pleasant, peaceful atmosphere.
The location is also ideal: The town of Waren is just about 3.5 kilometers away and easily accessible by bike. This way, you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the campground while still being able to get into town quickly.
A big shout-out also goes to the entire team. All the staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and warm, making us feel welcome right from the start.

We also had three small dogs with us, and there weren’t any problems at all! There’s a very nice, wooded, and fenced-in dog run, plus a designated dog swimming area... by the lake!
The only downside was that our campsite was quite steep!

The doors to the restroom building need to be soundproofed (e.g., with rubber buffers). You almost fall off the toilet because the doors often slam shut so hard. The staff at the front desk and in the bistro were very attentive and friendly! Under such circumstances, we would have preferred to move to a different campsite. Unfortunately, this wasn’t communicated to us upon arrival. Once we had set up our awning, moving to another spot was no longer an option, as it would have taken several hours of work. The food at the bistro is delicious and reasonably priced, and the drinks are nice and cold. Overall, we found it... very relaxing.
A note about excursions: The buses won’t take dogs without muzzles, but that isn’t mentioned anywhere. Great for biking—a beautiful trail to Waren. The restrooms were very clean, although the 6-minute shower time is sufficient,
