Poor value for the money
High Price for a Spot on the Dog Park
The outdoor parking spot was located on an uneven pasture that was used as a dog park.
The restroom facilities there consisted of only one men’s restroom, which was clogged. Another men’s restroom, which was usually occupied, was located in the entrance area. The large washhouse was several hundred... meters away.
The price that had been quoted earlier (which we hadn’t confirmed within two days) was not honored. We had to pay the full price for the spot on the dog park.

Super location and very clean place it is taken care of and everyone is very friendly there is a small smile in which there is a small from choice but something of everything is there really great.
Olumsuz yanları
The access road to the place about 1km is relatively narrow in some places when a vehicle comes towards but this is not really negative here you should just be careful when driving.
Nice and cozy place very child friendly
We stayed here for a long weekend with our young son.
The place is very well maintained and it was very clean although the place was close to full.
The restaurant on site is a real treat and the staff are super friendly, especially to our son.
We will be back and can only recommend the place

Size of the pitch, quiet, all connections available and functional, very clean sanitary facilities, bread roll service, friendly staff, especially in the technical and cleaning areas
Olumsuz yanları
Do not shower to lose weight
Highly recommended place even for longer stays
We spent a week with the caravan on a comfort pitch and were almost completely satisfied:
The pitch was very large and had electricity, water and waste water connections. Everything worked and was positioned in such a way that it made sense (e.g. waste water not too high). The sanitary facilities were... very clean. There are still shower coins. This didn't bother us, especially as the running time was considerably longer than we needed. The staff were always on site, very friendly and helpful and technical problems were solved immediately (not for us - just an observation).
Additional plus points are the small restaurant, a large playground and a large outdoor pool, not forgetting the daily bread roll service with a really tasty selection.
We have only awarded 4 points for the location, as the access road is in great need of repair. However, this is not the responsibility of the site operators.
Conclusion: A highly recommended site, even for a vacation stay.

Only swimming pool, no lake
Campsite with good prices and friendly staff
This place is suitable for families with children. Friendly staff, cleanliness but only swimming pool, no lake, good prices. There is free drinking water on the campsite. You can play table tennis and there is a big tennis court nearby. The kitchen is very cozy, there you can find everything you need (dishes, fridge, microwaves, stove). You can also order bread rolls. There is a very small store and a restaurant. Supermarket is 8 km away

I came by bike from Horb am Neckar, and I chose a direct route that is more of a difficult hiking path, rather than a bike path.
Superb
The place is very well taken care of. The sanitary facilities are new, very clean and serve a large number of people. The restaurant terrace is beautiful and serves good food. The atmosphere is great, very quiet and peaceful. Lots of things to do for families.

Unkempt sanitary facilities At a 4 star place you can expect that showering is free of charge, toilet paper is always available, door handles are clean! Soap is available! You have to wear a face mask but there is no soap! Showers (only spray comes out of totally calcified shower heads and shower rooms and toilets smell like cesspool! Lighting at night on the pitch leaves a lot to be desired! No economy/restaurant! 10 km/h are also not observed on the site!
Sanitary facilities
We will never come back to this place and will not recommend it to others! Nor will we say goodbye

Nature all around is okay
Olumsuz yanları
Poor, often unusable internet, but it costs money Staff and operators sometimes not very friendly Shower rooms very narrow except for one, with overweight it is an imposition to even turn around in it Seats are in short supply Overall lower middle class
Very mediocre
The place is about lower middle class. The staff, crowd and location are okay, but nothing more. In summer, the alcoholics squat in front of the entrance booth. Lunchtime quiet is very strictly observed.
Showers are far too small, only one is bigger. You should also hurry, as the shower coin doesn't... last long. It can also happen that the light goes out if you take too long to get dressed.
If you have problems with stuffy petty bourgeoisie or need an interesting environment or a decent WLAN, you should avoid this place.

Pleasant size, children can let off steam. Dogs are welcome.... The sanitary facilities are very clean, large and clearly laid out. Large children's playground.
Olumsuz yanları
The kiosk is a bit small. The sanitary facilities in the registration building are a little too small for the number of people in this area.
A short trip....
A small, well laid out campsite. Families with children and/or dogs will love the site. The operators are friendly and helpful.

Hiking & recreation
We stayed at the campsite with friends. The campsite team were very friendly and helpful from the moment we made our reservation. The two comfort pitches D6 & D7 are spacious and located near the newly renovated sanitary building. We always found them clean and tidy. The campsite is in a very quiet location... and some hiking trails can be started directly from the site. The bread roll service offered works well and the baked goods are very tasty. It is currently also possible to pre-order bread rolls online (test run). We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

A beautiful, quiet site with ample parking spaces. Very friendly staff.

I can't think of anything except that the access road could have a few fewer potholes.
Peace and entertainment for those who like it
Our trip took us to Horb at the beginning of September and we were given a great pitch with a beautiful view. The town festival in Horb had attracted us and so we spent a long weekend on the still small Neckar. There is a short walk to the historic center. A warm welcome at reception was the start of this relaxing weekend and we can only recommend this place.

if at all, then the unkempt permanent campsites
nice quiet campsite
We (family with medium - older children and dog) were on the site outside the vacations. The reception was very friendly and we were quickly shown to our reserved comfort pitch. Our pitch directly opposite the swimming pool was a little uneven but very well maintained. The pitch as such made a clean... and well-kept impression. It is a pity for the overall impression that some permanent camper pitches are in a very unkempt condition. The sanitary facilities were actually always clean. It is a pity that there is only one men's toilet at the swimming pool, which can certainly lead to a bit of a rush in the high season. However, there are plenty of sanitary facilities on the other side of the campsite. We felt very comfortable. We were able to go for wonderful walks with our dog in the adjacent forest and fields. I can't say anything about the swimming pool as there was no water before Whitsun. The small store has a few basic groceries etc. and bread rolls to order. Great importance is attached to lunchtime rest. However, there are plenty of parking spaces in front of the barrier. The groundsman was always friendly, helpful and present. The roads are partly gravelled and uneven but easy to maneuver even for our 8.60 m caravan. There are plenty of supermarkets and everything you need in Horb. As a small tip, please NEVER drive through the city center with a caravan, even if the navigation system indicates this. To calm the traffic, a 2-lane road is narrowed to 1 lane !!!! All in all, we will be back because we really liked it.

Swimming pool, beautiful nature, new and modern toilet building
Olumsuz yanları
Rental caravan absolutely not recommendable, only a few clean toilets, restaurant had only 3 tables outside in the best weather
Unfortunately somewhat disappointed
Our rental caravan was very worn out, felt "germy", the front of the rental caravan was very spartan and all around lovelessly furnished, there was a kitchenette (equipment ok, but kettle was missing and everything didn't seem really clean here either), plus a TV, a wooden bench and a wooden chair, that... was it. There was neither a table nor a cupboard or anything else, let alone anything COMFORTABLE to sit on. You really wouldn't have wanted to stay in the caravan itself. So in bad weather... Watching TV on a wooden bench??? What was also not great at all: in the front toilet block (3 toilets, 1 shower) you were only lucky to find a clean toilet, no matter what time of day. That's why we almost always went to the rear, much larger toilet block. You often had to open 4 or 5 doors to find a clean toilet, but at least you were lucky at some point. The facilities, especially in the rear toilet building, are very new and modern. We liked that. But what I absolutely cannot understand: why are there no small bins for pads and tampons in the toilets (ladies), as is usual EVERYWHERE else? You have to dispose of your pads and tampons in the garbage can at the front by the washbasins... One really positive thing was the small swimming pool. This helped us to cool off in a very welcome way. One more note: if you arrive by bus and train (as we did), you have to take a cab from Horb to the campsite for around €12-15 if you have luggage, or walk for at least half an hour, with the shortest route involving a hefty incline.

Partly uneven pitches
Quiet family campsite
Although the campsite was almost fully booked, we still managed to get a pitch. The groundsman was on site until 22:00, so that the pitch could be occupied even if you arrived late. Pitches partly sloping and not level. Very clean site and very friendly staff. About 20 minutes walk to the town on a hill.... New very clean sanitary building, unfortunately located at one end of the CP (about 200m max). Small sanitary building at reception, as only one shower, one WC and 2 urinals often occupied. Restaurant highly recommended. Small selection but good quality. All menus also available as take-away. Quiet site in and of itself. We were at the beginning of the CP where next door mE travelers had set up their quarters. Friendly people, but relatively heavy traffic during the day. If possible, I will pay attention to this next time and choose a somewhat quieter and more level site, closer to the sanitary facilities. But we would love to come again!

Great! Everything is right here!
After a very friendly welcome from the operator, you are shown around the very spacious grass pitches. The pitches for tourists are tastefully laid out and large. All the sanitary facilities have been renovated and are kept very clean. (There is even a changing table for the men.) The pool is very large... and super clean. The restaurant on site is simple but ok. Overall, everything is very well maintained and lovingly run. A great place from which you can really do a lot. Unreservedly recommended!

We received a very friendly welcome and our tent as a base station for the hikes on the Neckarweg found a practical place right at the reception. (Near toilets, swimming pool, bread service) the contact with cyclists who camped here was interesting. After 13 days we received a very good price. thank you

Great sanitary building at the back, well-kept site, very nice staff.
Olumsuz yanları
Too few toilets and showers for the tourist pitches near the reception. Walking to the village in the evening requires stamina
High above the city
Site characterized by permanent campers. Tourist pitches near the reception and near the sanitary building and restaurant. Nice large swimming pool which was very popular with the children. As the site is very high above the town you have to walk a long way with a gradient and 276 (!) steps. Horb itself... is quite nice but not a highlight. We packed the bikes in the car and then drove down to the Neckar. We recommend the tour from Rottenburg to Tübingen, or from Nagold along the Nagold to Calw (back by train).

Quietly located campsite with many excursion possibilities
PLACE IN THE GREEN
Site away from roads, therefore very quiet, friendly staff. Mainly occupied by permanent campers, plus some mobile homes for rent. Beautiful pitches for tourists spread over the site, although the access for larger motorhomes and caravans is sometimes a bit narrow, if possible, it is better to park on... the left immediately after the entrance. Sanit. Facilities under construction, partly already renovated, clean. Large pool and children's playground. The camping restaurant is under new management, friendly service, fast service, good food and reasonably priced. A footpath leads from the site through the forest to Horb, approx. 20 min. There are beautiful old half-timbered houses and various stores, well worth a visit. Also ideal for excursions to the Black Forest and the Swabian Alb.
