"Camping San Biagio - A real stroke of luck on Lake Garda - Camping San Biagio - A real stroke of luck on Lake Garda We spent ten days with our Fendt caravan on the beautiful Lake Garda and chose the San Biagio campsite in Manerba - in retrospect, a decision that turned out to be an absolute stroke of luck. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed at reception - also in German - and the registration process was quick, uncomplicated and informative. Our request for an extra pitch with a view of the Rocca di Manerba was fulfilled. The view of Lake Garda and the striking rock was simply fantastic at any time of day or night. The sanitary facilities are available in sufficient numbers, kept simple (which is by no means meant negatively) and in good, well-kept condition. We particularly liked the showers, where you can turn the water on and off manually - without any time pressure or constant pressing. The water pressure and temperature control were perfect. Only the shelf space in the shower area is a little small - that would be the only small point of criticism. There are also plenty of sinks. Here's a little tip: bring your own plug - you'll need it. As always, we had made provisions. The small store on the campsite is well stocked and has everything you need for your daily needs - we particularly recommend the fresh bread and sausage products, which are really delicious. The restaurant on the campsite was a real highlight for us: a varied menu with really tasty dishes - and at absolutely fair prices. You really eat well here! We would particularly like to praise the entire team at the campsite - always friendly, helpful and in a good mood. The manager is also very present and creates a pleasant, familiar atmosphere on the site. We are already looking forward to next year - we'll be back!

"Not recommended - When we booked the size of our caravan, we were allocated a tiny pitch that was so overgrown with olive trees that we had difficulty avoiding scratches when maneuvering. It was not possible to change to 2 much larger pitches, as we had supposedly booked a "large motorhome". The next day, a small camper van arrived. Because of "dangerous winds", we were told to position the campervan in a certain direction. A fake, so that our extremely distant and, at least to us, not very talkative permanent camper neighbors (apparently good acquaintances on the site) would not be disturbed by the sight of us. After a few days of looking at the other neighbor's motorhome, we turned the WW around 180°. The "enthusiasm" was palpable, but no matter. Over 90 euros for the first row on the water without seeing anything? The first 20 euros for electricity were used up after just 4 days. After complaining and rebooking, we ended up with a good 5 euros left over after another 7 days... The Dutch manager of the campsite was very customer-unfriendly. She was not interested in solving any problems. Paid is paid - bad luck. The receptionist was not to blame as the person in charge. The only strange thing is that the restaurant manager who was present when we complained apologized to us shortly afterwards for the treatment. The pitch had barely been cleared and the caravan had not yet been hitched up when the "boss" checked that everything had been left properly. Sanitary facilities not up to 4 stars. Cleaned daily, but by the afternoon at the latest everything was dirty and there was paper everywhere. Mold on the silicone joints of the washbasins; these could be replaced cheaply at the beginning of the season. Good restaurant on site with reasonable prices and friendly service. The mini market has everything you need. Conclusion: We did not feel welcome here and cannot recommend the campsite.

"nice little place with a unique location - We were here in July 2024 and really enjoyed it. Our pitch on the headland seemed a bit small and "misshapen" at first, but after maneuvering 2-3 times it became very cozy and we had a great view. The restaurant on site was very good and the supermarket had everything we needed. Of course, we did our larger purchases outside the campsite. If you want to experience a Lake Garda vacation outside the usual places like Lazise, Garda or Bardolino, this is the place for you...

"We didn't like our booked lakeside pitch due to its narrowness - The lady at the reception very friendly and very eager, the boss rather unapproachable, not even a good day or goodbye, has also not sought the conversation with us although we have expressed our displeasure, so be careful when booking a lake place because you do not know beforehand which one it is about you

"Quiet, small campsite on Lago Di Garda - We have a very long journey to get here. But it's really worth it. The dreamlike Lago Di Garda, the small small rabbit island off the shore. The Rocco with the cross on the mountain. The weekly markets in the village above and in the surrounding area. The ferry to Sirmione. Chilling down at the harbor.

Autostrada A4, 'uscita di Desenzano.Proseguire direzione Salò/Riva del Garda fino a Manerba.Raggiunta la rotonda denominata "Crociale", girare a destra per entrare nel comune di Manerba. Seguire le indicazioni stradali per Salò/San Felice e le indicazioni turistiche (cartelli marroni) per "Camping …San Biagio". Scendere lungo la Via Panoramica e girare a destra poco prima della stazione di servizio, entrando in Viale degli Alpini. Continuare a seguire i cartelli per "San Biagio" fino alla fine di via Cavalle.
