We felt super comfortable
A place to our taste. Simple, clean sanitary facilities. Very friendly and helpful operators. Spacious pitches and NO hustle and bustle. Every evening there was a food truck on site - not necessary, but still kind of funny!

Beautiful, family campsite with an honest price-performance ratio. The pitches are really big! Anyone who has ever been to the Moselle knows what I mean... The sanitary facilities are clean - there's even a shower for dogs!!! Just no toilet paper - but free WLAN! This site is recommended for mobile visitors... to Lac de St. Croix. The lake is a maximum of 10 minutes away by car. Shopping facilities are in Aups or Riez. The supermarket in Moustiers St. Marie has exorbitant prices! There is a snack bar, baguette service etc. too. The groundsman is friendly and helps on arrival (unhitching and parking the caravan).

The campground is very run-down; repairs aren't being made, especially to the plumbing (leaks everywhere). The solar-powered campground lighting keeps turning off. There are no recreational activities. The staff is practically nonexistent. The river listed as accessible is not actually accessible. Just okay as a stopover campground

We’re glad you enjoyed the campground’s proximity to Moustiers-Sainte-Marie and the water activities in the area. 🏊

However, we’d like to clarify a few points regarding your comments. Some of our accommodations in the Eco range are indeed... older. Leaks may occasionally occur, but as soon as they’re reported to us, our team responds as quickly as possible to make the necessary repairs.

As for the lighting, this is a deliberate choice. The streetlights are equipped with motion sensors to maintain a calm and subdued atmosphere at night while minimizing light pollution.

Finally, the river is easily accessible from the campground via three different access points. We apologize if this information was not communicated to you or if you were unable to find them during your stay.

We received a very warm welcome, and fortunately we were able to switch to a different mobile home upon arrival because the air conditioning in the first one wasn't working properly

Unfortunately, our neighbors (a group of young boys) spent both nights talking on their terrace, which is right next to our room, until 4 a.m. They turned down their music, but even so, it was very hard to sleep, even with earplugs. Our 7-year-old daughter was woken up in the middle of the night by their laughter and had a really hard time falling back asleep...

However, we are sincerely sorry for the noise disturbances you... experienced during your two nights. Unfortunately, we cannot always anticipate or be held responsible for the inconsiderate behavior of certain guests. Fortunately, this type of situation is very rare at our campground.

We fully understand your disappointment—especially with a young child—and we apologize for the inconvenience caused. Please don’t hesitate to contact the front desk or the on-call number if a similar situation occurs during a future stay: we always do our best to respond quickly.

We had a terrible night—the dogs at the campground reception barked until very late at night whenever anyone walked by. I don’t understand why you let them bark at everyone; there are simple solutions to prevent this. Luckily, we didn’t stay more than one night. Also, the restrooms weren’t up to a 3-star standard, and the shelf in the showers was always soaking wet. There was very little space to put your things to dry.

The campground's location is great for visiting Moustiers-Sainte-Marie and the Verdon Gorges. The staff was also very friendly.

The fridge!

The mobile home was in very poor condition overall; we found only one clean pot. The bathroom wouldn't lock. In addition, the staff entered the unit while we were away and without informing us.
Very disappointing

Regarding the accommodation, it was indeed an older model, offered at a discounted rate. However, we understand that its condition... may not have met your expectations.

Unfortunately, I didn't like anything about it, except for the staff's friendliness.

The bungalow clearly hadn't been cleaned in many months. Cobwebs covered the entire place, large piles of dust had accumulated under the beds and in the corners, and a particularly persistent musty odor permeated the space. Despite several hours of airing out the space, the smell persisted. The overall condition of the place truly gave the impression of a home that had been left to fall into disrepair. The heavily damaged furniture showed signs of advanced wear and tear, as did the dirty dishes and the toilet, which had traces of urine.

Unfortunately, there's nothing positive to say about the bungalow.

I was disappointed that we didn't receive any compensation, given that the mobile home wasn't clean and we had an electrical problem that forced us to switch mobile homes late at night, leaving us with no food in the fridge.

A somewhat old mobile home with some things that need repair. The staff wasn't very responsive; when we arrived, the sheets we were supposed to have weren't there, nor was the welcome kit. It took an hour to get everything.

We’re delighted to hear that you appreciated the cleanliness, the amenities, and the air conditioning in your accommodation, as well as the large terrace—all of which contribute to the comfort and warmth... of the experience we strive to offer our guests. We’re also touched by your positive comments about our team’s hospitality and the campground’s location.

At no point did we mention the presence of a swimming pool on our website or in our communications. We understand that this may have been confusing and will review our materials to avoid any ambiguity in the future.

As for the river, it is indeed a natural, undeveloped waterway, appreciated for its tranquility, but it is not a supervised or designated swimming area.

Finally, regarding the animal found in the accommodation, we want to assure you that we took immediate action by attempting to remove it and then contacting a specialized company. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a protected species, which limits the actions we can legally take. Nevertheless, we remain committed to resolving the situation under the best possible conditions.
