Very friendly service, very clean, lots of recreational activities—especially for kids—and a great sandy beach
Olumsuz yanları
There were no problems, and we really enjoyed it.
great vacation
A truly lovely place with no rip-offs—there’s plenty to do, especially for kids. For small purchases, the supermarket on-site is a good option; for bigger shopping trips, it’s better to drive to Palafrugell, where there’s a large shopping center (Costa Brava Boulevard 1). There are many small villages in the area with very beautiful medieval centers.

Kleiner Camping
Kleiner Camping
Kleiner Camping, nichts besonderes.

Large site, well organized, Direct, guarded access to the beach with beach bar, but the gate closes at 8 pm. Then you have to walk around the outside. Lots of modern sanitary facilities. VERY CLEAN! Cleaned several times a day. Pitches partly under trees, although the trees near the beach are still very young. Large swimming pool, which was used by many families. We preferred the sea. Great children's attractions, interesting playground. Large supermarket with bakery
Olumsuz yanları
We were over San Juan and as expected the place was quite crowded and noisy. The nightly fireworks lasted 3-4 hours. But we would definitely come back
Large beach area with pool and various children's attractions,
Very large, perfectly organized site with beach access. The cleanest sanitary facilities I have ever experienced while camping!!!

Child-friendly, partly close to the beach (half). Bakery/mercado. Old town of Pals.
Olumsuz yanları
Womo in Comfort own place search good luck, although must field. Ant powder! Dutch only!
Long, flat, family-friendly pitch
The proximity to the supermarket/bakery at the entrance was good. The walk to the beach was ok because of the beach paths. Tennis court 15€/h well well. Lots of children, plenty of children's entertainment. Great unique giant trampoline. Less suitable for Womos in Comfort. We were left alone to find... something. We were lucky because it was full. Right next to the main building. The paths from the back about 500m, here 250m. Too many Dutch people, very local. Tel inconsiderate. Fried steaks with spirit, actually forbidden. Loud neighbors after 23:30. Loud music never disturbed. If the landing door is closed, you can still walk around outside. Great sanitary facilities. Lots of children there because of the €5 children's price. For us Til. No entertainment. Hld/sp/engl. so so. We went to Mont Roig.

Dissatisfied
It's a real shame we don't have all the sanitary facilities we need to cross the campsite to get to the sanitary facilities, even though there's one right next to the pitches.

Quite loud... (you have to like it or not care, then it's fine ;-) ) Specific pitches cannot be reserved.
The usual Costa Brava plague! NOISE, NOISE, NOISE, especially bass speakers
Early July: What's the point of having the most beautiful surroundings and the best beach if you're drowned out by the entertainment? The announcements of activities over the campsite loudspeakers are still okay, but from 12:00 noon onwards, the pool animation (either water gymnastics or pool disco...),... almost daily evening animation: either mini disco (even the youngest ones are blown away...), or disco or karaoke or live music. The basses in particular can be heard in every corner of the campsite... In the last few years, a salesman for "event hardware" has probably upgraded all the campsites and beach bars and made a good profit, and Playa Brava was probably unable to escape this "trend"... Well, even if the wind blows the music away from time to time, the basses make everything vibrate permanently. In the evening, the music was so loud all over the CP, it was as if the tent neighbors were having a private party. Probably to encourage people to join in. No peace and quiet in the caravan either. We were also here in 2016 and things were much more "civilized" and quiet. Back then, it was still a campsite and not a party place. And no, not everyone wants it that way. And that's not the trend.... Many of the campers you talk to feel harassed, but have often given up ("It's just the way it is these days"). OK, you can argue about taste in music, but the music is often the kind that makes you want to shout and clap along: party, sun, Ballermann... In addition, you have to wear a wristband that identifies you as authorized to enter. You can't take the wristband off. It's not as if you have to defend yourself against moochers from outside at the all-inclusive buffet. Everything still costs money here. In this respect, this obligation to wear wristbands is incomprehensible... Here, too, you just feel like a paying bird that needs to be plucked as much as possible... I think this trend needs to be reversed... Our next vacation will probably be far inland, probably in the Pyrenees, somewhere with a pool, peace and quiet and a beautiful view. And our children don't like it either, they think it sucks... (at least we're on vacation with dad, so we'll stay here for a few more days, but definitely not until the end of our original plan...)

Great campsite for families
We stayed at this campsite for the 2nd time this Whitsun vacation. We actually wanted to go a little further south, but we didn't find anything comparable there. The site has everything you need, nice clean sanitary facilities, direct access to the beach, a cheap and well-stocked supermarket, a large and a children's/baby pool and nice staff.

Large clean pool with baby pool, sanitary facilities are constantly cleaned
Olumsuz yanları
WLAN chargeable, beach gate closed from 8 pm, I find a scoop of ice cream quite expensive
Beautifully maintained campsite
There were five sanitary blocks, some of which were really large, for the campsite, which was quite well laid out. There were few times that I didn't see any cleaning staff there. Most of the pitches were about 80m2 in size and unusable for caravans with a length of 7m. The larger pitches were built... later and have no water and sewage on site. The entertainment for children was very good and there was always something going on until late in the evening. If you want to do something in the evening you have to drive or cycle a bit as the campsite is a bit out of the way.

Good campsite with potential for improvement
The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities could be improved. It's also a shame that you always find garbage on the beautiful beach. Otherwise it is a good campsite that offers the most important things.

Beach entrance only open until 8 pm, would be nice to be able to stay on the beach in the evening without having to leave the place for it
June 2017
We stayed in a mobile home for 14 days. We were there again after 14 years. We liked it just as much as we used to with the children. Ideal for couples outside the season who want to relax and rest. Just relax, read a lot, bathe and unwind. Everything very clean, everyone very nice. We will come back again . 5 min walk to the beach . Also there , everything clean . Five stars from us ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

No serious........
Summer, sun, beach and camping
Perfect location right on the beach/ Nice staff, some of whom speak very good English/ Clean sanitary facilities, but not enough dishwashing facilities/ Pitch also guarded at night/ Evening shows until midnight (until 31.8.), but quiet afterwards/ MasterXL pitches very large and with water, waste water,... electricity (10A with Schuko)/ From the last week of August noticeably emptier, first week of September still approx. 30% occupancy/ Supermarket on site well stocked and ok price/ Some pitches very, very small (except MasterXL)/ In August it felt like 80% nice Dutch people and few Germans/ Site catering rather mediocre, outside (in Pals, for example) some very good restaurants/ Credit card payment possible

Don't rely on your satnav to get there ;)
Great summer vacation
It's not the newest and most modern site, but very well maintained. The pitches are large enough and we also had water and waste water on site. There is direct access to the beach, which is open and supervised from 08:00 to 20:00. The sandy beach was clean and the water was shallow. Ideal for swimming... with children. The pool has its own sunbathing area and lifeguards, although we didn't use the pool. In the high season there is plenty of entertainment, with 3 evening programs. However, these always ended at 23:30 and the place was quiet at 24:00. At the end of the high season there was less entertainment. The supermarket and the bakery are well stocked, at "normal" prices. The sanitary facilities are not the newest, but were always cleaned properly.

Summer vacation 2016
The site is very large and is located directly on a beautiful sandy beach. What was very remarkable was the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities. I had the feeling that they were cleaned around the clock. The pool is also very large and has a large sunbathing area around it. Outside there is a supermarket... with everything you need. The front pitches (near the beach offer no shade) but the pitches behind them have plenty of vegetation to provide shade. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the entertainment as I didn't use it, but as far as I could see there is plenty.

No individual seat selection possible (this should be urgently considered!)
3rd time in Pals
... After 2009 and 2011 we were there for the third time this year. Period 30.07. to 18.08.2016. ... Medium price range - the individual camping spots in this price range are sufficiently large; the shading is best towards the reception ... the site was extremely full (as was the whole Costa Brava this... year in general ...); nevertheless, despite all the stress, all the staff at reception, cleaning etc. were very, very friendly as usual. The sanitary facilities were very clean at all times of the day ... and that with this pitch occupancy. Guests during this period 97% from the Netherlands. The location of the campsite offers a variety of tours here: e.g. bays/cities/hiking/etc. ... we would love to come back ... maybe not in 2017 or 2018 ... but here we come!

Closed beach at 8 pm, no places to walk in the evening, Closed pool at 8 pm, paid WiFi No kayaking on the river
Ass doesn't get off
First and foremost we chose this camping because of its location, i.e. the river and the sea, to our disappointment it turned out that the river is not allowed to kayak, in fact it is not allowed to enter it at all, which was not mentioned on the website. Only VERY experienced surfers will be satisfied... with surfing, but beginners will not be able to do anything. The campground is located in a village without any tourist infrastructure, which means there is no place to go in the evening, no pubs, parties, etc. The website also does not mention that the entrance to the beach is open only until 8 p.m., the swimming pool in the area is open until 8 p.m. All in all, at this time the life disappears, if you go without a car or other means of transport, then he died in his shoes. Well have cyclists, there is somewhere to ride. There is a football field, tennis courts, the aforementioned swimming pool, a pub on site (we did not use) once ordered pizza - a poor result. I can't say I didn't enjoy my vacation, but I was disappointed by a lot of things, as we were aiming for a more active vacation, but anyway Spain scored. I wish everyone the best of luck 😋

Clean sanitary facilities, large pitches, good night's sleep
Great clean and quiet place
We have been going there with our now 15-year-old daughter on and off since 2006. We now also take friends with us. The weather is great in July and August, there are lots of Dutch people and great (shady) pitches at the back. Very clean sanitary facilities, you can sometimes meet a cleaning lady in... the middle of the night. Nice entertainment, something for everyone and a well-stocked supermarket on site. In our experience, the prices there are sometimes cheaper than in town. We can actually recommend it all round, as the security service also ensures that the campsite is really quiet from 23:00 (from 24:00 when there is entertainment).
