Exceptional setting and unspoilt nature: campsite nestled between sea and scrubland, with tall trees offering shade and a typically Corsican fragrance. Heated swimming pool & water park: a pleasant pool for the whole family, a safe play area for children, comfortable deckchairs for relaxing. Spacious, flat pitches: suitable for tents, vans, caravans and motorhomes, with electric hook-ups and water points nearby. Impeccable cleanliness: modern sanitary facilities, regularly maintained, spacious showers. Friendly bar-restaurant: simple, tasty dishes, local produce (charcuterie, Corsican cheeses), small shaded terrace for summer evenings. Close to beaches: Santa Giulia and Palombaggia are less than 10 minutes away by car. Quiet, family atmosphere: ideal for a relaxing vacation, with no noisy entertainment and a real sense of conviviality. Warm welcome: staff always available, good advice on visiting the region (hikes, secret coves, local markets). On-site activities: playground, table tennis, pétanque court, themed evenings in high season. Ideal location: close to the center of Porto-Vecchio, easy to reach, perfect for alternating between beach, mountains and town outings. An authentic, well-maintained campsite on a human scale, where you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The water park and swimming pool are real assets for families. A stay to be repeated with your eyes closed!

Frankly... the only regret is not having been able to stay longer. When you find a place as peaceful and well-run as this, you'd like to extend your vacation endlessly.
Camping Porto Vecchio Pitrera Village South Corsica.
We had an exceptional stay at Camping Pitrera, a little corner of paradise nestled between sea and scrub, just a few minutes from Palombaggia and Porto-Vecchio. From the moment we arrived, the team's warm welcome put us in the mood: here, you feel like you're in Corsica, but above all, you feel at home....

The setting is superb, with lots of trees and shade, and perfectly maintained. We loved the calm of the site, the song of the cicadas in the morning, and the scent of pine and eucalyptus trees all around. The pitches are spacious, well-defined and easy to access. We were able to set up our van without any difficulty, with everything at our disposal: electric hook-up, water point, clean and functional sanitary facilities.

Special mention must go to the large, heated swimming pool, perfect for relaxing after the beach. The kids had a ball! The bar-restaurant offers simple but tasty dishes and Corsican products (cheeses, charcuterie, etc.) to enjoy on the cool terrace. A real plus.

The campsite is also conveniently located: less than 10 minutes from dream beaches like Santa Giulia and Palombaggia, and close to the center of Porto-Vecchio for strolling, shopping or going out in the evening.

In terms of atmosphere, it's quiet, family-friendly and respectful of nature. No noisy entertainment, but everything you need for a real Corsican vacation, from idleness to swimming, hiking and sunset aperitifs.

Many thanks to the whole team for their availability and kindness. We'll be back without hesitation. A rare gem in the south of Corsica, far from the factory campsites.
