The only downside was the ground, as part of it had bare soil instead of grass, which was a bit uncomfortable. The campsite has excellent facilities, it is very quiet, offers access to the nearby pool, easy entry to the Aquadome with a 10% discount, a lovely riverside walk, and a very good restaurant. We had a great stay at this campsite! The location is simply unbeatable - in the middle of nature, but at the same time close enough to shopping facilities and excursion destinations. I would particularly like to highlight the sanitary facilities: modern,... extremely clean and well maintained at all times. You really don't find something like this everywhere!
The staff were always friendly, helpful and in a good mood, which made for a particularly pleasant atmosphere. You immediately feel welcome and in good hands here.

Clean and tidy, good, almost too luxurious sanitairy facilities. Be sure to take out pizza from the restaurant, simply excellent. Eating in can also be recommended.
Because of it's central position in the ötztal you can reach the entire valley within the hour.... Beautiful and lots of hiking trails, recommend booking activities like canyoning and klettersteig climbing. Many families with young children, for older teenagers or adolescents perhaps a bit dull.
Been here for the fourth time in 10 years, always a warm welcome and feels like home.

Only when it came to the AquaDome did the feeling of being ripped off arise. Nobody pointed out that we had to buy the discounted tickets on site and not in the dome. So we went back and forth 3 times. In the end, according to the site, there... was no longer a family ticket, we could only have booked in individually, which was a good €20 more expensive than the family ticket in question.
In the end, the Dom employee was kind enough to book us in as a family, as mentioned, very opaque.
The sanitary facilities were very clean and in top condition. We also had a pitch right next to the power connection.

We asked for an explanation, to which they simply replied that the prices had increased. When asked why we were not informed in advance...they are not legally obliged to do so. When we asked the owner/operator to contact us, there was no response. Only after repeated insistence and requests was there a call back with the same result. For our part, we will not visit this campsite again due to the lack of service!Nice campsite, poor serviceBeautiful chalets, but absolutely poor service. In addition, the owner (apparently) let himself be denied several times. In addition, it was sometimes quite loud on the campsite in the evening despite the prescribed rules. Thank you for your feedback. We take note of your criticism, but cannot understand your description - especially in view of the transparent communication in the run-up to and during your stay.
We would like to clarify the following: Your booking was made in 2024 for a stay in 2025 and... you had chosen two of our Alpine Lodges. We already made it clear in our first email that the prices for the following year have not yet been fixed and that this is a non-binding guide price based on the 2024 season.
In a further email, we again clearly pointed out that the prices could still change. This communication was transparent. If you can no longer find the emails, we will be happy to send them to you again.
With this knowledge, you have made a binding booking for the Alpine Lodge.
Ultimately, the price per lodge increased by a total of 10.00 per night - a minor adjustment.
On your arrival, you also received a price overview showing the applicable accommodation price. There were no complaints from you during your stay.
The allegation that the owner "allowed himself to be denied" is not true and is firmly rejected.
The enquiry was made a few days after your departure by a fellow traveler who was still on site. She repeatedly emphasized that she was only acting on your behalf. However, you did not contact us directly yourself. Our staff provided the accompanying person with all the relevant information and expressly pointed out that you could contact us directly to clarify your concerns. You did not accept this offer.
It is difficult for us to understand why, despite repeated and clear instructions, there was displeasure - both in writing and in conversation on site.

There are lots of leisure activities for children: Playgrounds, indoor playground, pump track, soccer pitch, outdoor pool (included).
The Aqua Dome is also highly recommended.
