Parking spaces for cars on the paths
Close to the city and also close to the highway
The campsite is easy to reach from the highway, and you can also get to the main train station quickly by bus (line 66) or take line 63 to Strehlen S-Bahn station. Tickets can be purchased at the campsite. In winter the reception is only open from 8 to 10 a.m. Checking in at the machine worked very well,... everything is self-explanatory. You then choose a pitch yourself. Bread rolls are available without pre-ordering. The sanitary facilities were clean and were cleaned several times a day. There are (actually) wide driveways, but they are also there for caravan owners to park their cars. At the weekend, even the largest motorhomes parked on the paths, which made maneuvering difficult for the vehicles parked on the meadow and one vehicle got stuck because it couldn't drive straight out of the pitch. Unfortunately, gas was not available for the first few days but was delivered on the 3rd day.
The site is ideally located for sightseeing in Dresden, in a quiet area and yet only 12 minutes by bus from the main station.

Great campground for visiting the city of Dresden, the bus stop is at the entrance to the campground, and they sell tickets at the front desk. The restrooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. Small market with fresh bread at fair prices.

Space in the city and yet more in the countryside!
Olumsuz yanları
No complaints
Everything fits here!
We have been here several times and are always impressed by this place in a green suburban environment not far from the A17.
Ideal for visitors to Dresden, as there are two bus routes directly in front of it, which take you into the city center in no time at all. Bus tickets are available at reception....
The operators are always friendly and helpful, the sanitary facilities are very clean, several types of bread rolls are available every morning, there is a small store with groceries and essentials, a pool and a restaurant.

Bus stop directly in front of the pitch. Year-round site Bread roll service in summer, kiosk and small restaurant with home-style cooking. Free choice of pitch.

Small drawback, check in via machine (but self-explanatory in operation). WC/shower building is getting on in years, smells of drainage.
Uncomplicated, simple and close to the city
This is our second time here and we will be back!
You take the bus to the main station, the bus stop is right on the square, and you can enjoy the whole city from morning to night, wonderful

Bus stop in front of the door Well-functioning W-Lan Nice wash house
Olumsuz yanları
Cleaning of the wash house apparently only every two days Reception in the winter time only occupied from 8.00 - 10.00 o'clock
Campsite near the city
We arrived at around 2 p.m. and found that reception was only staffed for 2 hours a day. The registration machine wasn't working, so we simply chose a pitch and plugged in the electricity.
In the beautiful but not particularly warm wash house, I happened to meet the operator who, when asked, explained... that the campsite's own restaurant was currently closed and that there were no restaurants nearby. You would have to drive to Dresden. This was not apparent on the website.
The next bad news the next morning: the showers weren't working. This was the case until the next morning.
For these reasons, we decided to leave early. There wasn't even an apology.

The welcome was, well, let's say quite snippy. This wasn't just my impression, it was also a topic of conversation with other campers. One woman, certainly over 70, asked what the parking options were like in Dresden and was told "you'll have to find somewhere"! That's an answer that leaves me speechless! The opposite was the nice man at reception, friendly and always with a genuine smile on his face.

Nice site, pitches sometimes very uneven. Sanitary facilities clean, water nice and warm for showers. A big thank you to the nice cleaning lady, always friendly. Bus connection directly in front of the site, either to Dresden, or to Pillnitz, where you can take a wonderful stroll in the beautiful castle park.

Clean, well-kept site with clean sanitary facilities. In 10 minutes in Dresden. Bus connection right in front of the campsite.
Olumsuz yanları
Many people probably only used this campsite to pass through, it was daily arrivals and departures from early in the morning until late in the evening and therefore no rest. The lunch break was also not observed, it was always very restless.
For us it was an adventure vacation, even though we wanted to relax
A big disadvantage was the use of electricity, there are only 6 amps available. We constantly had to think about what was being used, if we wanted to make coffee everything else had to be switched off, the same applied to boiling eggs. Only one thing worked at a time, otherwise the fuse blew. That was... very annoying, we must have run to the fuse box 100 times in the 1 week. There is also a lack of organization, we had booked until the 24th, on the 20th the barrier did not open in the evening because we were no longer saved in the system. The constant arrivals and departures also took some getting used to. The pitches are freely selectable and also spacious, the disadvantage is that the cars should be on the lane and therefore an exit from the pitch is a challenge. Our neighbor already had a nice scratch on his car. We parked our car on the grass, nobody said anything, but we didn't want to risk someone driving into it, that would have been missing. All in all, it wasn't a relaxing vacation for us, but an adventure vacation to see what might happen next. We won't be coming here again.

Ideal for visitors to Dresden
A very pleasant site, not far from the highway, run by a dedicated and very friendly family, a small but well-stocked store with fresh bread rolls every day, a restaurant on site, a pool, clean sanitary facilities, parceled out with both shady and sunny spots!
Two bus lines that stop directly in front of the site provide a quick and stress-free connection to the city center.
(Tickets can even be purchased on site!)

Well located
Great place. Rather noisy in the upper part (road) but with more shade. New and clean sanitary facilities. Bread roll service without pre-ordering and store with the essentials inside. Restaurant and pool available on the site. Friendly and very courteous operators. Good value for money.
The wifi is, as some previous writers have already mentioned, for the cat. It is referred to a hanging cable that also uses the neighborhood....Unusable!

City trip to Dresden
Eight nights on this pitch and I have to say: it's lovely here. Quiet location, clean site, small store and a delicious restaurant on site. No, there is nothing to complain about, we did not expect 5 stars with animation, but what we expected was fulfilled.
When we visit Dresden again we will definitely come back here.

Located on a road, but that is not a problem, even at night it is not very disturbing
Beautiful place
The reception by the site operator was very friendly and after a short briefing we were allowed to choose a pitch. Bread rolls were available at reception in the morning. The paved paths made it easy to reach the sanitary building at night. The boss then gave me a course on how to use my Duomatic, which the dealer had not yet told me. Simply great and down-to-earth. I'll be back again.

Great place for a city trip and relaxation
The campsite is located in a quiet residential area. Nevertheless, it is central and has a bus connection to the city directly in front of the site. The pitches are spacious, freely selectable and well maintained. Our 3 year old grandchild liked the playground. The sanitary facilities are NEW, very clean... and spread over several buildings across the site. The hygiene regulations were observed very carefully. There is also an "ironing room", washing machines and dryers, a kitchen with fridge and a small restaurant. Scooters and bicycles can be hired at fair prices. The kiosk with fresh bread rolls "without pre-ordering", other delicacies and accessories for camping needs is also good and the price-performance ratio is ok. The pool was unfortunately closed due to Corona. There is a natural swimming pool next to the campsite.

Thanks to the team.

Cleanliness and order
Ideally located but!!...
This place is ideal for visits to Dresden or for excursions to Saxon Switzerland. Friendly operators. Nevertheless, there was a major shortcoming during our stay: the sanitary facilities were only cleaned superficially on the FOURTH DAY of our vacation. Not acceptable in times of Corona.
Further weak... points are defective place lamps and a 6 ampere network - whenever the coffee machine is supposed to run, everything else has to be turned off. No longer up to date. W-LAN so weak even near the reception. So something has to be done here again because it is really practical to have a campsite 5 km from the center of Dresden.

We stayed at the campsite for a week. Very well maintained, top clean sanitary facilities, super friendly operators. The bus stop directly in front of the campsite provides a very good connection to the city center.
