"Evelyne and Rüdiger - Once you've discovered the Lou Vincen campsite, you won't want to leave, so much so that you'll feel right at home. First of all, you'll be warmly welcomed by the managers, Ronan and Nelly, who are A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E-S, very friendly, caring and attentive to everyone's needs. You are then transported into a bohemian world of nature, calm and tranquility, where you really lose track of time. The pitches are spacious and well-kept, the sanitary facilities new and very clean with huge shower cubicles, a relaxation area with hammock, story caravan, playground for children decorated with great taste and love, a very pleasant and well-kept swimming pool. There are even little lights that come on as soon as it gets dark, making the atmosphere even more cocooning. And then the magic spot of this campsite is the little restaurant where the original Thai cuisine delighted our taste buds, in a warm, friendly, family atmosphere, with very kind, radiant, incredibly friendly staff. Bravo and thank you both for your warm welcome, your art of living, your love for others. You make us feel good, very good, Aqui Sian Bèn, we'll be back. Evelyne and Rüdiger from Freiburg, Germany

"Manageable place on the Rhone - Very nice operators; lovingly laid out; large pitches; clean but somewhat basic sanitary facilities, beautifully situated for cycling tours along the Rhone and inland; shopping facilities in the village.

Profil

Lou Vincen is a small campsite in Provence, between Avignon and Nîmes. It is located on the outskirts of the village of Vallabrègues, right on the Rhône. The campsite and its surroundings are a great holiday destination for those seeking …peace and quiet. Find a quiet spot on the Rhône for fishing or visit the nearby towns of Avignon, Nîmes and Beaucaire. The campsite is located on the Rhône, which flows from Avignon towards Beaucaire. To get to the campsite, drive the last stretch along the river, through the middle of orchards. The reception is located at the front of the campsite. At the front of the campsite, directly behind the reception building, there are about ten mobile homes. Behind them, there are almost seventy pitches for campers. Hedges separate the pitches from each other and provide privacy, while trees provide shade. The campsite is small and cosy. Next to the reception is the swimming pool. The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated, but they are always well cleaned. Otherwise, the campsite itself does not have much to offer. Fortunately, it is close to the centre of Vallabrègues, where there is a small supermarket, for example. The campsite itself is very quiet and peaceful, which makes it a great place for families with small children. However, there is not much for older children to do. There are many excursion possibilities in the region, and there are some nice towns in the area, including Avignon, Nîmes and the lesser-known Beaucaire.
