We were very well received at Camping Les Peupliers at the end of the season. The spirit of the campsite and the various facilities make us want to come back!

The square with its diverse planting presented itself in the most beautiful autumn colors.
One week in October
The view from the modern and comfortable eat-in kitchen with the adjoining covered terrace was great. The large plot is centrally located and also allows spontaneous use of the adjacent meadow or the boules court.

Very nice welcome, well shaded, 24/24 access to games, well-equipped gym..... and very quiet. The managers are very present and responsive to any problems. Thank you very much.

As usual for 5 years now, we enjoyed a very pleasant stay in this little cocoon of greenery and calm. The teenagers love the natural swimming pool, the games room with its well-stocked library and Julien's kitchen. Annouchka and Julien are welcoming, friendly and very responsive, and we're always happy to see them again. The possibility of ordering bread for the morning is very much appreciated, and the breads on offer are excellent. The nearby beach of Penhors is splendid.

Beautiful, environmentally friendly campsite in the heart of nature. Well-separated, shady pitches, facilities to make you feel comfortable and at home. A small snack bar and sometimes meals to enjoy. Plenty of space for dogs to run around. Plenty of farm animals and fruit trees. A superb natural swimming pool.

We liked the campsite's location, 10 minutes from the coast, and very well situated for access to many activities, the natural swimming pool, the library, the animals, the welcome... and the ecological commitment.
Superb stay
Very spacious, the terrace is very pleasant. Despite the heat outside, if we closed the curtains tightly we weren't too hot.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're delighted that you enjoyed your stay. Indeed, the chalet is the best insulated accommodation on the campsite, which is appreciated and environmentally friendly when it's a bit cold (the chalet can also be rented in winter) but also very much appreciated... in summer when it's hot!
It was a pleasure for us too, we enjoyed your good mood and hope to see you again soon!
(As for the distance from the coast, 10 minutes is by bike! We take between 15 and 20 minutes running, Google map gives 6 minutes by car from the campsite exit ;) )

Quiet campsite, family atmosphere, many services available especially for families (games room with many games, board games and books), clean and functional sanitary facilities, swimming pool, playground, petanque area, snack bar, grocery store/restaurant/bar....

About the sanitary facilities... It's very surprising that you only saw 3 showers, but there are 4 showers, one of which is suitable for PRMs.
I'll repeat... what I said in response to another comment: the problem isn't really the number of showers, which has been more than sufficient for 11 and a half months. On the other hand, it's true that we accept a lot of people during the first two weeks of August (too many?) but we already turn away 10ènes of customers every day, and since we always have room, it's sometimes difficult for us to say no when we know that this period won't last. We urge those who can to book outside the first few weeks of August, which are by far the busiest.

We also really appreciated your sympathy, especially on the evening of the (slightly rainy :-) ) meal when your state of mind was magnificent and helped us a lot. It's a good thing there are campers like you who always look on the... bright side of things, with fun, it was great! Thank you!
We're sorry about the reception times. We can't afford to pay staff to carry out all the tasks required to keep the campsite running smoothly and be back at reception by 5pm. Pitches are therefore available between 12pm and 1pm or between 5pm and 10pm. If you arrive between 1pm and 5pm, we simply show you to your pitch and ask you to return to reception after 5pm. We understand that this is not ideal, but being at reception every day from 8am to 1pm and from 5pm to 10pm, we only have a few hours between 2pm and 5pm to carry out all the other tasks, including cleaning the toilets.

The campsite is magnificent, and the owners very friendly. We chose this campsite because we wanted a place on a human scale, with respect for the environment, which is important to us. Every detail has been well thought out, respecting both nature and people.

It's minimal, but the shower on the side of the sinks sends water to the floor in front of the sink, which makes it a little dirty when you've just brushed your teeth because you're walking in the water with your shoes on... but anyway, pretty anecdotal as a remark 😅
A great vacation
A spacious pitch with lots of trees, so we were in the shade from morning to night!

Regarding the remark about the shower splashing the first sink.... I don't... know if the remark is addressed to us or to the campers who prefer to use the sink with the wet floor, even in front of us, rather than the others when they are available and perfectly dry; or those who continue to choose this shower that splashes on the side when the other 3 are free. xD We can't change the shower walls just for that but we are well aware of this inconvenience and would be delighted if campers would favor the other showers and sinks when possible! Common sense, always common sense! :-)
