Ideal for a visit to Antibes
As far as can be seen, this is one of, if not the, best located campsite for visiting the charming old town and marina of Antibes. You can be there in about 15 minutes on the cycle path along the coast.
Biot train station is also a 5-minute walk away with excellent connections along the coast.
The site... itself is green, with numerous mobile homes, in the low season (2nd half of September) with a limited number of tourist pitches (no reservations possible!). The entire infrastructure is clearly getting on in years; however, the men's toilets have apparently been recently renovated. The showers are lukewarm at best with minimal water pressure.
Shopping facilities (good supermarket, ATM) can be reached by bike on a busy road in 5 minutes.
The beach in the Biot area is not very attractive: stony behind a busy road and the railroad line
All in all, a clear recommendation for a visit to Antibes or, for longer stays, to Cannes, Nice, Monaco etc..

Restaurant, market and a bakery on the site
Very large, not too clean
We stayed there only one nigt, very large and quite old camping - like a small town, free wi-fi, poor toilets and showers, no toilet seats, moss on pipes, nice workers, they speak fluent english. Quite far from the beach, you must pass a busy road and go under a railway.

Quiet place
We stayed at this campsite for one day at the end of July 2014. The location is very convenient, in a quiet place but within walking distance of the town and the sea. Although it was crowded, you could maintain your privacy, and the bathrooms were always clean, although a bit dated. The campsite is very... extensive, you can take nice walks in and around it, and other attractions are present both in and just outside of it. Friendly staff. Wi-fi not always flawless, but included in the price.

Vacation July 2014
... we arrived by car and pitched our tent on the site! Beautiful individual pitches with privacy/hedge + electricity & water. The whole place is very nicely laid out and clean and we/my wife and I spent a great vacation (2 weeks) there !!!!

Cleanliness sanitary, Not really cheap compared to much better CP places in other areas in France
2012.06: Very friendly campsite with rather small pitches. Very good location for excursions by train (train station 5 min walk away) or bike (10 min to Antibes or a supermarket). The restaurant is very good, the store well stocked. There is free wifi at the reception. The sanitary facilities are ok... but not always very clean. There are signs warning that the river next to the campsite could flood the campsite during heavy rainfall 2014.05: Wi-Fi is now available throughout the campsite and is still free. The train station nearby has been well developed. Sanitary is ok but not perfect in terms of cleanliness. The access roads to the pitches are very narrow and you have to think about the way with WoMos from 6.5 m beforehand, then it is not a problem

I went on a motorcycle tour through the south of France and spent a few days at Camping Le Pylone. I preferred simple accommodation throughout my trip, sometimes camping in the wild. I chose Camping Le Pylone because of its proximity to the train station and the associated excursion possibilities by... train. The staff were very friendly and the location was ideal for my requirements. Unfortunately, the condition of the sanitary facilities had a very negative impact on my stay. The toilets and showers were VERY basic and most of them lacked hanging hooks or shelves for storing clothes, toiletry bags, etc. If there were storage facilities, they were usually very dirty throughout my stay. Unfortunately, the staff only "cleaned" the sanitary facilities once a day and then only very cursorily. Too bad, with a few small things, such as toilet seats, hanging hooks, some repairs and suitable cleaning staff, one could make the stay on the site much more pleasant.
