"Very nice - Beautifully situated in the middle of typical Tuscan countryside with free shuttle to the sea 8km away. Wonderful view from the good restaurant. Swimming pool and grounds very well maintained. Barbecue facilities. Highly recommended even in low season

"Beautiful place to relax - Even without a reservation, we found a nice pitch on this site in the high season. The pitch is terraced and nicely shaded. However, there is certainly less choice for larger caravans, as maneuvering in some terraces is difficult. Overall, the site is very well-kept and pleasantly quiet despite the entertainment program. There is a shuttle to the beach, but the pool area is also nice, although understandably busy. A trip to Pisa is easily doable, but the small villages in the surrounding area are also worth a detour.

"disappointing - The location of the campsite is nice - a bit "in the middle of nowhere" - and we were delighted when we discovered it. Unfortunately, any peace and quiet is spoiled by a terrible children's entertainment program (our 6-year-old son said: they dance like crazy jumping jacks while watching a TV showing what the children are all screaming and dancing to) until late in the evening. Goodbye peace and quiet. The whole night there was an incessant, insistent beeping that echoed from various directions across the square (night watchman?!) The pool area is large and may certainly appeal to some. For the price, however, a more regular cleaning of the sanitary facilities would be expected. The showers were lukewarm and dripping. However, the real disappointment (we have no problem with simple campsites) came when we had to pay twice the price for the campsite than the very friendly reception had indicated and shown on the price list. When asked where the sudden price change came from, the suddenly extremely unfriendly lady at reception said: "Just because we show you a cheap price on the list doesn't mean that the pitch we show you is as cheap. You could have complained before you left. When we pointed out that we couldn't have known that we were on a more expensive pitch than we had been told on arrival, she said that we could have asked. Ah yes. I then became clearer and asked to speak to someone in charge, but after she gave me the middle finger (no nonsense!) (in the presence of our child, I really thought I was crazy) I no longer wanted to discuss things at such a level. (In the excitement, we stupidly didn't remember her name) The day before, when we simply remarked that we wanted to stay a day longer than planned, another receptionist's "friendly" response was: "So what do you want from me?

"Tuscany perfect - in the low season - A wonderful, quiet site with lots of shade and a great view due to the hillside location towards the sea. Normal sized pitches, for campers there is even more choice, where caravans or motorhomes don't really fit. There are also a relatively large number of rental tents and mobile homes. We were traveling with 2 children (8/11) who really enjoyed the pool and the new water park. Restaurant very tasty and friendly, mini-market good selection and good value for money - we didn't even go to a large supermarket in a week. Perfectly located for excursions e.g. to Pisa or Volterra. You have to drive to the sea, but we like this place much, much better than the ones near the sea. Sanitary OK. Access to the pitches relatively steep, towing assistance offered. Some children's entertainment and water gymnastics, but not annoying. We would love to come back.

"Quite dark, somewhat remote - We only used the site as an overnight stay, but left late enough to get an impression. Apart from the (large and attractive) pool area, virtually the entire site is under dense woodland. The terrain is on a slope, a large part of the site is terraced like steps and the approach to these pitches is very steep. There are a few more easily accessible pitches for caravans at the back. Restaurant is ok, the omnipresent evening entertainment (children's disco + animation) ends in good time before midnight. Sanitary facilities not overwhelming, but clean. You are relatively far away from towns, shopping facilities and especially the sea.
