Beautiful camping on the Charante
We chose the campsite for a stopover. The site is not far from the Charante on the outskirts of Sireuil. The camper area is almost park-like with a stand of beautiful old trees. The pitches are therefore mostly shady. But very sunny pitches are also available. The pitches are large, mostly flat and well... laid out. Check in is easy even if you don't speak much French. The staff are friendly. The sanitary facilities are newly renovated and pleasant. There is no gender segregation, which is very possible as the washing facilities are located in individual cabins. There is a restaurant on the site where you can also buy breakfast bread. We only stayed on the site for one night (as we did last year). However, we could also stay here for longer.
