Camping Le Champ d'Ayres is located 200 m from the village, in a good position. Our pitch (no. 30) is small, opposite a large tent. The pool was perfect, nothing to say (supervised swimming, slide, plenty of deckchairs and parasols too, safe access for children). Relatively noisy campsite from 7 a.m.... and late in the evening (midnight), lack of civic-mindedness and good manners on the part of the campers, and pitch located opposite the sanitary facilities, lots of flush toilets and hand dryers that people use late and early. The reception on the campsite can go, but fortunately Granny (former owner before 2000) is there to be social, to chat and above all to say goodbye, otherwise... not much human contact. The entertainment was average, not very dynamic, especially for young children. for the adults... a lot of point-counting to sum up, well-kept, well-equipped campsite. 16/20 but not for the human side, nor for the campsite spirit, i.e. chatting, telling stories, joking. good management doesn't give you the time for that, I guess. what's more, everything is payable on arrival (1st time we've seen that, and yet we have 14 years of camping behind us). What's more, it's not possible to pay by cheque for less than 20 euros (apparently not because of a lack of trust...!). On the other hand, you can leave a slate, which suited us because we didn't have any cash on us. A WE campsite to be recommended, especially if in the future there are improvements in human relations, human warmth and a desire to open up to campers.

There is a regime of rules and control at this campground.Showering is not possible at night. You really should bring a watch. Old plumbing.Places are sloping. Lots of flies. (Really a lot) Children are not allowed to play with water balloons and if they go down the slide on their knees, they are scolded... enormously by the overwrought watchdog the campsite owner. Downright rude and definitely not relaxing. Never but never again! Not suitable for people with mobility problems!
