Beautiful place in a quiet location
On our motorcycle tour this year, we also passed by here with our tent. Fortunately, it's not that hot at almost 1000 meters. We were late and completely exhausted after the traffic jam in Switzerland (due to the Paleofestival). We received a very friendly welcome, were registered super quickly and were... allowed to choose a pitch and pitch our tents. The sanitary facilities are simple but typical of a French campsite. It's camping and that's exactly how I like it. No camping disco, no huge motorhomes and caravans, just normal, friendly campers. The peace and quiet here is wonderful. Beautiful area and a great starting point for motorcycle tours and other excursions. A reason to come back and stay longer, even with a car, tent or Eriba.
