Beautiful cycling and hiking trails. Train station nearby - direction Merano.
Olumsuz yanları
No water at the pitches. Only one tap. Pastries can only be ordered online.
Small square
After a long search, places in the area were overcrowded, we ended up on this smaller site. Good location for cycling and hiking. Apple harvest was in progress, you have to see this amount of fruit. Simply beautiful.
Small places worth seeing in the immediate vicinity.
Pitches big enough for a WOMO.
A minus for the groundsman, you don't get any information. Very unfriendly. In my opinion out of place.

Very well-kept, with a well-behaved dog you have no problems at all
Olumsuz yanları
have not found any.
Very nice place
Very nice little well-kept place. Unfortunately we were unable to test the pools due to the weather. The reception was very warm. The price-performance ratio was completely OK.
Absolutely well-kept place with very clean sanitary facilities.
If we are in the area again, I will definitely come back.

Olumlu yanları
The course is very well maintained. The lawn is almost like a golf lawn! Simply 'too much'.
Olumsuz yanları
Owner quite unfriendly. You don't really feel welcome. After a phone call, we were told that there were still places available and we should just come. This was not the case. According to the owner, a written reservation is necessary. The information came from a member of staff.
Can't understand the good reviews
Dogs don't seem to be particularly welcome. It would be better to ban them straight away. Very bad options for the morning walk.

Nothing
Our late summer 2023 in Val Venosta/Vinschgau
Nice reception and shop/small bar (great Aperol 😊). Dog owners who adhere to the normal rules (dogs on a leash, clean up mess) are welcomed in a very friendly manner.

Olumlu yanları
- Very good location, many excursion possibilities - Manageable number of pitches, therefore plenty of peace and quiet - well-kept facilities - Small pool (a little cool) - good showers - nice operator
Olumsuz yanları
- Power connections are sometimes a long way away. Have at least 30 meters of cable on board
Good place to hike
We stayed at this campsite for a few days on our return journey from the Adriatic. The accessibility of the campsite is very good via the connected highway in the direction of the Reschen Pass.

Many excursion and hiking destinations can be reached from the campsite. There is also a train station in... the immediate vicinity within walking distance of the campsite.

Bread roll service is available to order online. There is also a small kiosk with the essentials.

I was completely satisfied with the pitch.
Olumsuz yanları
Unfortunately there was no cup of coffee to buy, and the wifi only worked right outside reception.
Super clean and well maintained!
The stay was uncomplicated and functional. The sanitary facilities, the pool and the site in general are spotlessly clean and in perfect condition. You always get very friendly help with concerns and questions. Tip tip!

Location
Olumsuz yanları
Price/performance ratio not in line with the offer.
No comparison to the past
Since the change of ownership, this site can only be recommended for overnight stays or short stays. There are no more seasonal prices, all year round main season prices, makes for 2 persons 40,- EURO per day. No more discount for longer stays. Catering and store no longer available. If you fancy an... ice cream or need something quick for your daily needs, be it some sausage for your bread or a tube of toothpaste, you'll be left out in the cold, there's absolutely nothing. Bread rolls can only be ordered online (1 roll costs 80 cents!).
WLAN only directly at the reception.
If you get too cramped on your 80 square meter plot and want to park your car in the small parking lot (max. 3 cars) by the barrier, you pay an additional 7 euros per day.
Just don't receive visitors, costs another 10 euros per person.
The manager makes an effort, but is hopelessly overwhelmed as a lone fighter.

Dear Guest,
A review is always welcome, and you are right on some points.
Unfortunately, we missed the fact that we took over the campsite in times of a pandemic - which was and still is a very hard start for us at least.

Wifi was only ever available at reception, we haven't changed anything except... that we have applied to the region for fiber optic connection, which should take place later this year to bring wifi to the whole site.

From 7 nights stay you get 10% off the pitch price, from 15 nights you get 15% off the pitch price.

Visitors are allowed for 2 hours free of charge, as stated in the camping regulations. Anything longer than this will be charged, as many visitors who stay longer like to use the sanitary facilities and the pool, which I think is understandable.

Gastronomy in times of lockdown was completely prohibited, distance rules and masks were the order of the day, staying in closed rooms was not conceivable; at least that's how it was handled here in South Tyrol/Italy.

Nevertheless, I would like to thank you for the comment about the effort I am actually making, and I certainly have to agree with you that it was not easy on my own. I very much hope that Corona won't cause the same damage by next year and that we can finally operate normally again, that would make me very happy.

I'm sorry that you didn't enjoy your stay, as you have so many things to criticize. A change of operator always has advantages and disadvantages. However, if I look at Google reviews, the bottom line seems to be that there are definitely more advantages. The clientele is changing a lot, on the one hand in general, and on the other specifically in the central Vinschgau region, as active vacations and biking are growing rapidly. I try to do justice to every guest as best I can.

Thank you!
A real gem among the South Tyrolean campsites. It is a great pity that this season was probably the last and that this campsite will no longer exist in the future. Best wishes to Mr. and Mrs. Kaserer for their retirement.

Nice, small campsite
We stayed for 2 weeks at this small, well-kept campsite, ideal for cycling on the Adige cycle path or in the mountains. The free Venosta Valley Card is also good for free travel by train to Bolzano/Merano.

Feeling good, cycling, coming down, clean, lovely owners
Hello, this place is very cozy as it has "only" 50 pitches, the owners are always approachable and help to find solutions for anything. We felt at home straight away, there was nothing missing. This is an ideal starting point for hiking, cycling, paragliding, mountain biking and much more. The free regional... train is within walking distance. Shopping is a 3-minute drive away at Lidl. We liked it very much and we will definitely come back again. Arrive and feel at home!

Complete price, Venosta Valley Card location, friendliness, cleanliness
We come back again and again
We have now been to the campsite three times. Each time we felt very comfortable! Last year we were lucky enough to get a nice sunny pitch for 14 days without having to book. No matter whether we had problems with the car or with our health, the campsite operators helped us in all situations. Our children aged 18/20 also liked it very much. The Venosta Valley Card that you get as a guest is perfect!

Friendliness out of place
Greeting is already difficult. After early registration for 3 weeks and caravan size, there is only a mini pitch, while small ones get a large pitch. You get the feeling that you'd better not come back.

Camping in the Vinschgau Valley
The friendliness, calmness and restraint of the staff was pleasing. Due to the location, climate, sights and weather, our wishes were completely fulfilled. The use of bike, bus and train meant that the car was not necessary.

super well-kept campsite
We stayed on the site for 4 days, it is well laid out and very nicely situated in the orchards, it offers plenty of sun and shade, all the facilities are of a high standard and the bathroom is also wonderful, everything is very clean. The store is small, but offers exactly what you need for everyday life at fair prices. We would love to come back

The site is located in the middle of the apple orchards, which is why a tractor occasionally drives across the site.

Very small CP, familiar and very friendly management, suitable for tents, caravans and motorhomes. Ideal starting point for all kinds of activities. Free use of the Vinschgaubahn (included in the tourist tax).
