"We camped on October 26 and 27. - My negative comments are quite enough. It's unacceptable that we should be denied access to electricity when we've paid for it.

"Disaster - We wanted to stay for two weeks. There were two break-ins in the first week. We had already paid for two weeks and after two break-ins in the first week we wanted to leave. The owner refused to give us our money back, despite two break-ins and a complaint. There are regular break-ins there. We can only warn everyone else about this place. Be sure to drive on !!!

"Known for burglary and theft - During our stay, the e-bikes, which were secured several times, were stolen on the second night. The night before we left, the WOMO was broken into even though we were sleeping in it with our dog. Cash, cell phones and other things were stolen. As we didn't take anything with us, especially the dog, the police suspect the use of some kind of gas. We then found out that thefts and break-ins often occur on the site. Definitely not recommended.

"Entrance via a parking lot, lucky if there are no cars in the driveway - The pitch is rustic and right by the sea. WLAN for 2 days 8€, for 2 devices 9€, sanitary facilities and bar/restaurant in the entrance area, pitch is "tubular", if you stand at the back, you have a long way to go. There is only one toilet building in the middle, 3 ladies' and men's toilets, unfortunately one was still blocked during our stay. Everyone stands as they please, you can like it, but you don't have to. Billing only possible with cash payment, a rascal who thinks evil. There's not much in town, almost everything was still closed in May.

"Tent Stay October 2022 - Great meeting with Annette, Bjorg (German, Dutch couple). Great meal with them, my brother, my sister-in-law and especially at 6 p.m. in good spirits with a mix of aperitif, Franco-German wine and finished with Get27 and Amaretto.

"Never again! - Expensive camping and no value for money. Very bad experience with this campsite. With tent here stood on first increase was fine until a camper with a day and night mooing air conditioning went in front of us. That can of course but very disturbing. Any form of communication with camper was not possible. It seemed appropriate to turn off the air conditioning at regular intervals, especially since these people also sat outside a lot while the air conditioning was running. The Dutch owner, Joost, in his opinion, could not do anything about this. "I cannot ask them to turn off the air conditioning. That was not my intention, nor could I reasonably demand it. But arranging a conversation would have been possible in my view. Joost didn't understand or didn't want to understand. So we left after 2 sleepless nights. For 50 eur a night I would rather sleep somewhere else.

Profil

Welcome to Cala d’Oques (Geese Bay). We are a small family-run camping south of Barcelona near the historic Roman city of Tarragona, the tourist resort of Salou and Port Aventura theme park. Our campsite is located on more than two …kilometers of beach and near the Catalan mountain range. It is a quiet, peaceful location surrounded by nature. We are only a few meters away from a nudist beach. We offer unmarked camping plots so you will have plenty of space for your RV, camper, caravan or tent no matter what size. We also offer a small number of rooms similar to a small hotel or lodge. Each room has a sea view. The camping remains open all year. Reservations can be made by phone, email or by postal mail. However you are very welcome without a reservation.For couples, families and children there are plenty of activities which you can enjoy such as visits to the wineries, water sports, fishing, kite surfing, horseback riding, mountain biking and other cultural activities in the nearby villages.

By car: GPS Position Lat. North 40º 58’ 39’’ Long. East 0º 54’ 13’’ From Barcelona or Valencia. Take Exit 38 marked L'Hospitalet de l'Infant/Mora La Nova. After the toll, turn right and drive approximately 1 km. After you have …gone under the two overpasses you are in the town of L'Hospitalet de l'Infant. You then will find signs on the corner of each street indicating your direction to Cala d’Oques. The total distance Exit 38-Camping Cala d’Oques is about three kilometers. By train: From Barcelona and Valencia, there are regular trains to L'Hospitalet de l'Infant/Vandellos. You can see train schedules and prices in Renfe.com By air: Reus airport is located approximately 20 km from the camping. There are now regular Ryanair flights from various European destinations. You can visit Ryanair.com or Reus Airport for more information. Barcelona airport is approximately 120 km from the camping. Once there, you can either hire a car or take the connecting train to Barcelona central station and then connect to a train direction Valencia which takes you to L'Hospitalet de l'Infant.
