The campground is very dirty! There are sick chickens running around the restroom building, and there’s trash everywhere poop; in the evening, the campground is swarming with rats and mice; the owner has a garbage dump on the campground full of vermin; trash is burned on the campground by the owner; the campground constantly reeks of toxic fumes from burning plastic; the owner scams people
Bleialf Campground: A Threat to Public Health
The campground is a public health hazard. It’s infested with rats and mice, and the restrooms are broken and extremely dirty; chicken and cat feces are everywhere, including in the restroom building and at the reception desk; dead mice are floating in the pool; plastic is being burned on the campground,... and other trash is emitting toxic fumes nonstop; The owner has a trash dump right next to the reception area; the campground is overrun with the owner’s sick chickens and cats. It’s unbelievable that German authorities haven’t closed this campground yet.

Quiet location on the edge of the village, clean sanitary facilities, covered seating for cyclists by the tent meadow.

Good for an overnight stay on the bike tour
Covered seating for cyclists. Many permanent campers. Bleialf is approx. 500 m away, where there is a supermarket, bakery and restaurants. There is a large play tent for children. Much is a bit outdated, but something is being done.
